I'm putting this here because it relates directly to the safety of a young woman.

How would you best report a message you got on the other side that gives (supposedly) the name and phone number of the boy's girlfriend? I've done some research into the number and it could be legit, though of course I've not called it.

Report it to support

If you feel it's life threatening, report the message and the identity and phone number to whatever law enforcement coincides with the area code.

Not much else you can do.

I don't think it's life threatening - it's a blackmail request, and he's just giving too much info right off. I'm wondering about how to report it to support, I guess... we have illegal, money, spam, threats, etc., and the only qualifying category is spam, but that doesn't address the problem with it.

What Blonderfluff said.

You can report things anonymously to the proper authorities. As corrupt as they can be, the law is there to help, and they will take appropriate action if you explain why you feel this person may be endanger. It's their job to look into these things, and 9 times out of 10 they take all life threatening situations VERY seriously.

On the profile side ( CollarMe ) there are clickables for support. You can report the CMail that he sent that has her info, and there is a place for you to write in what your concern is.

This is CollarChat. Different administration.

I know, I was referring to the "report message" button on the other side. :) I'll find that clickable, thanks!
