Hi everyone my name is J.I have enjoyed reading the threads on here for some time.Almost every day I have someone who pops ups as an admirer of me.They have not even taken the time to read my profile. All most of of them are nothing I would be interested in.Does anyone else have this issue ? thanx, J

It's not really an issue but it is a bit of a misnomer.

If someone posts something on the forums that piques my interest, I may click on their profile. If I find that profile actually has some information; that the person put some effort into it, I may want to read it. I may not have the proper amount of time to devote to it so I go to "add to favorites".

Once I click on that box (in an effort to just be able to find the profile, again), that user gets a notification that I'm an "admirer". I may not be. I may just want to peruse the profile some more.

It's just one of those "glitches" that really wasn't very well worded/thought-out in the original design and it isn't a huge priority to fix.

Screen captures still RULE! Ya feel me?

Thank you.I have done the same and did not realize it would list me as a person's admirer. J

They may just really enjoy looking at your profile picture. It's absolutely beautiful. Care to share what it's of?

Regarding your avatar pic: it comes from National Geographic as part of their traveller's photo contest in 2012: Here's the content of the description as well as the photographer's name.

" The Village of Gásadalur. Photo and caption by Ken Bower
The village of Gásadalur and the island of Mykines in the background. Until a tunnel was built in 2004, the 16 residents living in Gásadalur had to take a strenuous hike or horseback over the steep 400 meter mountain in order to make it to the other villages. It was a rare sunny day in the Faroe Islands and I had to wait until the clouds rolled in to provide some softer light. I decided to go with a long exposure (1 minute 10 seconds) to illustrate the force of the wind and a serene sea among the isolated islands.
Location: Gásadalur, Faroe Islands"

It is a beautiful shot in any event.
