PeonForHer -> One-night fever (6/2/2014 1:04:25 PM)

Anyone had one of these? Strange. Last night I was running a temperature before going to bed. I slept badly - bad dreams and waking up frequently covered in sweat - then, by morning, it had completely gone. What sort of pathetic bug does that?

A bug that your immune system seriously wacked, Tony Soprano style ;) Or it was a reaction to a food you ate or something you were exposed to and not a bug, so it got flushed out of your system.

Welcome to peri-menopausal night sweats and chills.... [;)]

Jeez, you think that's what it was? I'm pretty sure I didn't let any woman breathe on me that day. :-(

Is it possible you caught it from her some other way? [;)]

Bugger. I remember now - I took a wrong turn in a department store and found myself in the cosmetics department.

So you had a make-over done? Yep, a lot of germs in those sample make-up jars. [:D]

Sounds like you caught one of those 24-hour bugs. Stay hydrated, don't eat anything heavy or that takes a long time to digest in your body (give it a break to bounce back fully). Papaya juice has digestive enzymes to flush your system out. (Be prepared for frequent restroom visits, causes some people to have diarrhea.) Drink flat ginger ale for any stomach upset. Take extra C to boost your immune system.

Thank you for all that advice, FO. However, I'm not going to follow any of it because I'm not gay. I have never consciously 'hydrated' myself, nor taken limp-wristed things like 'vitamins' into my body, in my life.

Frankly, I see no useful purpose in your being disgusting on this 'Health' forum, FO, and would wish that you refrain from such unsavoury talk in the future. :-(

Aha, it's a miracle you can drag yourself out of bed in the morning with that unhealthy talk. Let me switch over to MommyDomme mode. Remember this, you might get away with abusing or not taking proper care of your body in your 20's, but when you hit your 30's, you'll start noticing you don't have the same energy level or stamina you used to have. Why mess with your vitality? By the time you reach 40, it'll all catch up with you like a ton of bricks. Do as your mother used to tell you, Take Your Vitamins. If you want to be daring, don't wait for ginger ale to go flat first.

You'll thank me one day (muttering under your breath, no doubt). [:)]
