The increased feistiness down in P&R has been an overdue spur to rethink how I spend my time online.

One happy result was coming across a fascinating BBC documentary, Treasures of the Louvre. The presenter, an amiable and portly professor, shows rather than tells why the museum is such a cultural gem and deftly weaves its history with that of la belle France. I enjoyed it and thought others might too.

Now I really need to get back there after way too long. Anyone up for a munch a Paris?

Thanks DC… what a great video. I do hope to get there in the near future. It is amazing that there can be so much beauty in one place…also worrying. It is like having all your eggs in one basket.

It almost hurts to see the talent there…especially when I love art but have absolutely no talent myself. Makes me jealous as hell…lucky bastards…I wonder if they realized how lucky the were to be born with such extraordinary talents.

Thanks again Butch

I watched the entire thing and it was great. So much I never saw or knew. Thanx
