NOTE: If you have an unsupported "png" file, you can attach it to a message on the profile side then send, and it will get converted into a "jpg" file which is then attachable to your forum post.

You simply copy the message attachment from your Sent Mail file copy to the pic folder on your pc (which got converted automatically into "jpg" format) then upload from there. This works for Windows 8.1. Your results may vary.

I don't understand why people can't use one of the freebie paint packages.
Load the .PNG file and "Save as" a .JPG.
Easy enough to do.

Appreciate the tip, but you're talking to a low-tech person over here. [:)]
If I can't use a keyboard & mouse with my touch-screen p.c., I'm lost. (An actual keyboard, not an on-screen displayed one)
I can barely navigate around whatever weird-arse programs are pre-loaded on here.

I think I could have just done a pic-to-pic copy between browser windows (from graphics contained in my Sent message directly into draft forum-post mode).
Yeah, sometimes I make things more complicated than they have to be. [8D]

Last try with this: (Saved CS URL-generated graphic to p.c. pic folder, then selected for embedded upload like usual when posting.)

That's what I've always done. With Irfanview - which seems to open almost anything and convert it to almost anything else.

What I hadn't wanted to go into was how my computer had gotten messed up unexplicably when my son had to download his college SAT registration (???)
Wiped out Windows, Word, MediaPlayer, Notebook, etc. and everything had to be reloaded. It was the freakiest FUBAR. [:o]

please feel free to add onto this thread by choosing any post contained here, press the Reply button in the upper right-hand corner area, and a draft box will appear for you.

P.S. When you check off the box for "Embed picture in post," you must select "Click here to upload" beside it to the left in order to access your p.c. pic gallery browsing feature.
It will not display in posting Preview mode. You must type in a text sentence within the draft post body, then press OK to view your final posting. No need for extra line spacing. (You have up to one hour to Edit your post.)
