ORIGINAL: freedomdwarf1 I don't understand why people can't use one of the freebie paint packages. Load the .PNG file and "Save as" a .JPG. Easy enough to do. That's what I've always done. With Irfanview - which seems to open almost anything and convert it to almost anything else. Appreciate the tips. What I hadn't wanted to go into was how my computer had gotten messed up unexplicably when my son had to download his college SAT registration (???) Wiped out Windows, Word, MediaPlayer, Notebook, etc. and everything had to be reloaded. It was the freakiest FUBAR.
