Looking for a flogger that meets the following criteria, if one even exists.
* Man-made material like nylon. No leather or horse hair.
* Sensual, not painful. Would be used on someone who is extremely pain-intolerant. Really want the flogger to give a caressing, not a true whipping. Ideally would be difficult to accidentally cause pain, even when doing a whipping motion.

So... Any suggestions of what comes closest to that? Links to a specific model on an online vendor would be great. Thanks!

Faux Fur.

You can't even pretend that it hurts. A rolled up bath towel would cause more impact.

Though, I'll add that, if she ain't into it, taking it slow ain't going to change that. Don't get your hopes up too high.

Oh definitely. We're not vanilla, but the corporeal part of BDSM when pain is involved is a line we probably can't cross. Nonetheless, if a flogger doesn't hurt then the recipient then I'm sure it will find a place in our toybox.

What about nylon? Today I saw a couple nylon ones over at Adam and Gillian's that were described as "sensual", like the fat Albert and the tribble.

I can't think of anywhere that I've seen nylon floggers.

I got this "pleather" flogger recently from Extreme Restraints. (In fact they have been offering a special periodically where you get a free toy with your order and this is one of their choices.) You could probably cause some pain if you really tried, but you'd have to put a lot of muscle behind it to do so.

I've never used this one, but I think it's almost identical, just a little bit longer.

I do. We use different toys for different results. Good Doms use contrast because samo samo is not how to keep her attention. For example, flogger to pain and feather to caress but if you are careful, a great leather medium flogger can caress in a way nothing else can with a smell of leather that drives subs crazy and if they say it doesn't then we know what that means. So, get a medium leather flogger and caress with the smell of leather and when she gets to loving that remind her you have sting... ditch the nylon or some other crap... Cecil Wain Studios had/has great floggers.

Yeah, the smell of leather will certainly drive a vegan sub to something... I'm not sure you know what that means though.

I just finished making a human hair flogger that matches my girls hair perfectly. We've found it's far more sensual than the horsehair variety with very little sting even when used hard. There are several online however they never seemed "thick" enough regarding volume of hair used in construction. I bought two wefts of virgin Indian hair, rolled them tightly then secured them in 1 in pvc with polymer resin. Wrapped the handle with leather braid, capped the end with a leather monkeys fist wrapped around a wooden ball and I had my first flogger project and it turned out ok.
