RockaRolla -> Snakebite Kits (6/30/2014 5:59:49 PM)

I saw this entry on a webcomic that I watch that caught my interest

http://www.ohjoysextoy.com/snakebite/

Never heard of snake bite kits before this, which may have been a good thing because they don't serve their intended purpose anyway. But apparently they work well for nipple play and come extremely cheap to boot. (Strip mentions a $3 price tag, I found a nice looking one on Amazon for $5.)

Has anyone had experience with these during play? The strip mentions some risks like not to leave the cups on for too long and not to use them to treat snake bites. Anything else that is worthy of a mention?

I have used them. They do work well. Part of the disadvantage of them is that they are not clear plastic and so you cannot see the color of the nipple or clit. It is possible to burst capillaries if the suction is too much. Of course you don't want to leave anything like that on for too long anyway, but controlling the suction is the biggest downside to them.

For my money, best to get one of those toy sets where you can adjust the suction. They have little plungers in them that can be adjusted by twisting them in or out as the need arises. This is the one I own: http://www.adulttoyoasis.com/twtrniandcls.html They work well and they are very easy to keep clean. I am sure that there are many other toys like that that could work better, but these suit me just fine.

The ones you linked suck but not much.
Otoh there is a different model/brand that acutally works for it's intended purpose and is a valuable addition to any kinksters stash. Here is a utube link... there will be dozens on the same page...sadly they all extol the virtues of the sawyer extractor as a remedy for insect and reptile bites, stings etc. with nary a mention of it's more meaningful purpose. The amount of shear joy that is available at ones fingertips goes silent in these monologues.[:(]

Now, by "they suck but not much" do you mean their suction isn't powerful enough or that they're only slightly terrible?

I don't really care for the "intended" purpose, as I don't plan on getting bitten by snakes any time soon.

Because they do not suck very hard they suck.
Because you cannot see inside they suck.

I have found that the weight of the unit in the video is just about right. Of course when you get serious you just get a hand operated automotive style vaccum pump and become the mad vaccum wizzard...but that is some other thread.

I have this one, and I absolutely fucking adore it. You can adjust the intensity by squeezing it more or less, and lube forms a tighter seal than saliva. It is my favorite thing, I wear it doing housework sometimes even!

Oddly enough, this is the exact model that I bought.
