Of course we saw it coming. It's what George H. Bush warned about, but that junior and his arrogant neo-cons ignored.

Welcome to a 3 State Iraq.

While they watched ISIS fight Nouri al-Maliki, the warlords were content to let them do it, and then clean up ISIS.

Now that the Kurdish Fouad Massoum is president (a largely ceremonial post in Iraq), we'll see whether the new government can hold Iraq together.

But it's anything but certain.
