Do you ever get a friendship request from an unfamiliar name so you look up their profile? Then you see their profile and something looks intimately familiar but their face doesn't ring a bell or they don't have a face shot at all? . . . I can't help wondering if I fucked them or not . . . were they a party favor, a one nighter, a drunken tryst or what? I mean, their body looks intimately familiar like unique tattoos or pierced privates. It makes me wonder what to do?

Do I write them and ask, "hey, didn't you suck my cock at that xmas party or are you that hot waitress I took home? . . . you both had the same piercings so it's hard to tell from your faceless profile shots."

Exactly what is the politically correct thing to do?

I normally would say something like "forgive me but I'm wrecking my brain trying to remember how we met. Could you refresh my memory?"
Always works for me.

But yes, there's a shit ton of people who I have no clue who they are it how I know them.

My bad . . . I don't even understand that section. I have no idea what a "BDSM Safeword-Free Zone" and I have never read any of the 3 posts in that section. Nor do I know exactly what qualifies as "Everything Else Wicked" or what teh 4 posts in that section are about. The only part I understand is the shortbus window lickers that like to argue and insult each other on the internet are posting to their heart's content in the "Dungeon of Political and Religious Discussion".

Please feel free to move to the appropriate place.

Somehow telling an ex-lover that had choked themselves with my cock until they nearly passed out while sincerely trying to give me their best head ever . . . well, saying you don't even remember them or their screen name seems like a good way to evoke the wrath of a woman scorned. If my cock ever ends up in their mouth again they just might take a bite while screaming, "remember me now?"

Although your proposal seems politically correct on the surface, I fear there may be deep ramifications from that approach.

You're hoping that this public post will avoid all of that?

RS, unless you are responding to a question on any particular section, you should always post in Feisty:) just because you are you.
for me the issue is people who change names and dont tell you....and their stuff shows up on your feed...
Only three guys have choked on my cock, so I feel able to distinguish between them:) but people who change names, confuzzle me

I'm amused by the self defining nature of this statement.

I've had those experiences before. 10 times out of 10 they turned out to be plain ol' friend collectors and never met me at all.

My experience is the same as RockaRolla's. However if something about them does seem familiar, I see nothing wrong in apologizing and saying you're terrible with screen names, or names in general. And could they jog your memory as to where you met.

Just play the "old age" card. Simply say something like, "Old age seems to be catching up with me! I look at your pictures and everything seems very familiar but I can't quite place you, so I really hate to have to ask you this, but...just who the hell are you?"

The fact of the matter is, for whatever reason you have already forgotten them once. Do you really think they will be more memorable the second time around? And if it turns out that you have never met they won't have a reason to get mad for not remembering them anyway.

That's been my experience, they liked the picture but didn't have the skills to express that with messages.

P.S. Do they tweek out if you turn them down?

I think if they weren't memorable enough to remember, there's no need to pretend you do! And it might encourage them to try harder next time

I never worry about what's politically correct. I just act like a normal, decent human being. Do that and you'll be ok.

I hate when they change screen names and then it looks like strangers are in your feed.
