Make sure it's long enough to span across your legs and maybe consider a way of fastening to prevent twisting if you crawl or move around

It is so simple to make your own, I cannot see a reason to buy one. All you need is 2-3 dowels about 15-18 inches long and a few rubber bands. I would be happy to detail the method if needed. Two dowels are needed to make a humbler and three if you are into a humbler with a a ball crusher piece.

Personally I would buy one because a purchased humbler has been made to fit into the shape of the back of your legs. If you have tightly fit testicles (skin wide at the top) then a humbler will be near on possible to fit. You need to be able to work them in a pliable fashion [;)]
