LittleGirlHeart -> RE: the results showed pre cancerous cells:( (10/22/2014 9:52:00 PM)

I get papsmears every year, and a year can be a long time, butin one year it went from we need to watch to precancerous.

My gyno told me that when a woman gets cervical cancer its usually because she didn't have an exam for several years and it went untreated for a looong time. ITs not something that develops fast.

I think everything will turn out ok for you.

Could you all make your own thread for this, you have totally hijacked mine.

Are you saying you want this thread to close?

Of course its rarely mentioned that no medical body in the US (Cancer Society, preventative services or the university of gynecology/obstetrics) recommends yearly testing. they all clearly state that testing is only needed every 3 to 5 years depending on age. Actually there has been quite a few publications focusing on how the unnecessary testing is leading to more aggressive treatment that isn't necessarily. There is also a high probability that many tests come back as false positives making a lot of treatment unnecessary.

LittleGirlHeart, you've been part of Collarchat to know that threads much like conversations tend to wander all the time.

As for the "You support your argument......" If someone states what someone should or should not do regarding anyone's health, damn right they should state their source! How can you say it's silly that people give resources backing up their statements?

LittleGirlHeart -> RE: the results showed pre cancerous cells:( (10/23/2014 10:01:28 PM)

Of course , but if they're just go in circles about it maybe it'd be nice to go in cirles on their own page lol

Moderator3 -> RE: the results showed pre cancerous cells:( (10/23/2014 10:35:20 PM)

All threads have the potential of thread drift or include things that might be of help and can be argued. This is the natural course of this type of thread. Unless you are specific about what you are looking for within the thread, people won't know and will go on what they might think the OP seeks and comments can be made. Not necessarily what an OP might want or expect

Everything here is within guidelines and any in-general expectations.

If you only wish to write about yourself and have responses to yourself, its far better to write a blog. Once you open a thread, people will talk about their own experiences and give their own advice and warnings. We have to accept, as long as it remains on topic, the thread can go in any direction. We also have to accept that, unlike a blog, a thread can't be solely about us. Once published it doesn't belong to the publisher but to everyone who feels the need to add something. Personally I think this thread, though small, has been an interesting one.

good luck

And do not believe things people tell you on the net when you are desperate.

Like Maria said - it would have been better as a blog rather than a post on a discussion forum.

Your opening post did not pose a question or a problem.
Even the title did not pose a question or a problem for debate.
It was a flat statement: "I have to go in october to get them scraped out"

Mr Rodgers posited something about a drug called amygdalin which was pertinent to your post.
Some of us argued his opinion so that you could glean some info about it.

What did you expect people to do??
Like a lot of your posts, even when you do post a question, you rail against the advice and opinions given because you appear to have already made up your mind before you posted.
What is the point of your posts???

Sorry LGH, but this thread isn't much different from most of your others and people are bound to input their own experiences and advice whether you want it or not.
After all, this is a discussion forum, not a blog spot. [8|]

If you don't mind Dr. Bombay, could you please explain on what medical authority you are stating that I should be taking cyanide?

As a post cancer patient (I kicked cancer's ass in May 2013) I take certain things, and I avoid other things that could cause a return of uglies. Depending on other's particulars, they may need to take things, I avoid. Why? Because ALL cancers are different! What impedes one can help another grow and grow. So please dial back on the blanket prescriptions.

http://www.livestrong.com/article/468303-vitamin-b-17-for-cancer-cure/

These all contain cyanide:
almonds
millet sprouts
lima beans
soy
spinach
bamboo shoots
cassava

Additionally cyanide is found in most any fruits that have a pit, or core, like cherries, apricots, and apples.

From your own link: "Studies on the effects of amygdalin in clinical trials are sorely lacking."

These studies are sorely lacking because they work, just like Ozone therapy. Ozone therapy is also banned in the US. Gee, I wonder why.

Amygdalin is not a 'prescription' it is a dietary supplement the same as other dietary supplements.

Add to the list along with scurvy and rickets is cycle-cell anemia which presents when one with the genetic predisposition is taken away from their natural diet...they produce symptoms and in this case, is even called...an anemia. An anemia is a quantitative deficiency of the hemoglobin, i.e.m blood which can often be fixed with the proper diet or supplements.

While you certainly seem to think you know what you are talking about but I am going to have a hard time trusting your medical knowledge if you keep talking about things like cycle-cell anemia.

OK...sickle-cell anemia.

Sorry but I did refer to a cancer treatment and preventive which brought out the usual nay-saying.
