In another thread smileforme50 has been agonizing over a caging experiance. So in all fairness to her, we should allow this jury of her peers dedice for her.

Dedice???

Believe it or not.....I actually voted for "cage the silly bitch until panic sets in" But the key there is that someone needs to be there to let me out if/when panic sets in!!

Your taste in movies is showing. That was one of my fav scenes for Hepburn in that movie... not that the entire movie wasn't absolutely perfect.

As far as caging her goes, I voted no. She seems too nervous to suffer that well. She seems like a smart person but it looks like she tends to over think this cage stuff. Caging someone up with unresolved issues, trapping them alone with their own thoughts without someone to act as counselor doesn't seem like it will have a good outcome.

But somehow if she does end up caged . . . with an emergency call phone, I hope your number is one they program into it.

. . . Hello, Exiled? . . . halp, halp . . . THIS PLACE IS ON FIRE . . . <background voice> "damn, I burned the toast"

. . . Hello, Exiled? . . . halp, halp . . . I'M TRAPPED IN AN EARTHQUAKE . . . <background voice> "did you see the size of the truck that pulled up next door?"

. . . Hello, Exiled? . . . halp, halp . . . I AM WORRIED ABOUT MANY THINGS AND HAVE NO ONE TO TALK TO ABOUT IT EXCEPT YOU . . .

This tomfoolery aside, I thank smileforme50 for her sane and well founded questions about fire safety and the such. I am sorry she had some dreams about a low ceiling that gave her an emotional response to cages without the reality of an experience to temper her thoughts.

By far one of my favorite movies EVER!

Few people realize that most of my tomfoolery is a diffusion tactic for things that are escalating or need derailed for the sake of one, or more, persons reaction. Too deep, too personal, etc. Simile is quite a remarkable girl, and seeing the demon she was wrestling with, I started this to add some comical "ridiculous" to the topic. Unfortunately, participation has been low, but it is having the desired effect.

Jus sayin

I don't think I would be too nervous to go into a cage.....all I'm asking is that someone be close by....a phone just doesn't cut it. Even if it was a direct line to ET.

I also wouldn't say I have unresolved issues.... I don't think the fact that I don't like to take unnecessary risks means I have unresolved issues.....I'm just not looking to leave this world be best known for winning a Darwin Award.

And as far as being trapped alone with my own thoughts..... I have already been through that for many years. Funny thing.... Being alone with my own thoughts isn't a problem at all.....as long as I am in a place where I can change positions and escape in an emergency..... I actually think I would do very well in a cage. As a matter of fact I think the captor would be disappointed because he didn't see the changes he expected. I have already spent a lot of time in my life alone with nothing but my own thoughts.

But I do wish people would participate in the survey

I got you girl. I voted give her a brief tour.

I, like you, fear cages.
There would have to be way more trust in the relationship than I think I've ever experienced. I happen to like low ceilings and small spaces.
But it would set off my anxiety and obsessive thoughts really bad. I'd come out crazy, and whoever put me in there would likely have to do a lot of repairs.
I'd for sure lose a shitload of sleep for one thing. I'd end up with the shits from being in panic mode the whole time.

I realize there is risk in everything, to me, a phone doesn't cut it either. Someone would have to be EASILY within ear shot, and I'd much prefer in the same room.
I mean...my bigger fear than say, fire, is what if I have to shit while you're at work? Do I have to call a friend? and wait for them to get there? Or do I just shit in the cage? Hold it?

Just the bathroom situation alone makes me anxiety ridden.

and just talking about this at all is making me think about the risks involved with ALL bondage and I'm kinda freaking out about it now.

Must invite smileforme50 & shiftyw to next party. They have "fears" and that is such a turn on. I can scare them and my girl can "comfort" them and calm their fears. <checking their profiles> . . . damn it, neither of them are listed as bisexual. My dream is crushed...

YES!!! EXACTLY!!

My problem isn't with the general idea of the cage or being kept captive. If I was locked in a cell, but was still able to move around, and....as you mentioned......have quick access to a place to shit or pee....AND knew there was a quick exit in case of an emergency, I don't think I would have any problem at all and could deal with it for a very long time.
So ok....I just thought of something....if I was in a completely stone/cinderblock/iron bar cell where the chances of it being destroyed by fire are next to nothing.....and I had quick access to a toilet...I probably wouldn't need to have someone close by. I really was just thinking about what it would be like to be left in RS's cage inside a typical house.

But yeah...I feel the same way about bondage. One of my "hard limits' is that is someone puts me in bondage, they can't leave the house....or else my trust for them is DONE.

Actually RS.....I've been getting to know a Dom who lives down in Florida ...and we have been "getting to know each other" for quite some time now so that we are working on my moving down there next spring. (keeping my fingers crossed!!)

He keeps telling me that I need to have at least one bi experience in my life. He keeps telling me that I need to "give it a try"

We'll see....

ETA....Hey! I want to know who voted for "cage the silly bitch and let her rot! (looking suspiciously at RS and ET....)

I'm not listed as, but I am.
I'm just straight leaning. I prefer my men with a side of ladies. If you put that in your profile here though...the mail you get is stupid. Hence I'm not listed that way.

I'm a giant baby, my maso streak really is limited to specific things, as much as I would love to play with your slave (and you) I really don't think anyone would walk away satisfied.

Plus- I think with ladies I might be a top. I haven't really had BDSM encounters with ladies (just boring old vanilla girlie stuff)- so its hard to say- but I feel very much the aggressor towards them.

I could be inclined to learn though
