I was just wondering if anyone knew of a resource other than Fetlife to get in contact with their local community? Google has not been my friend lately. As charming as I may seem online (ha ha) I am rather a shut in with real life, and it has been harder considering I relocated for work. My sub is here with me and local, but his job runs him long hours and sometimes he has to go on business for a while. I hope to try and spend time with a group who has similar interests.

I don't mean not finding people and stuff, I mean the site not actually working at all, physically.

Status: offline 		FetLife is a good resource in finding things in your area...at least, once you honestly put where you are from said area. When I travel, I use it to find munches in the those cities with no problem...the search function is good for that.

Another places to find munches...if you just cannot utilize FetLife optimally...is www.findamunch.com. It is a database of munches across the world pulled from FetLife and other resources.

For me, I sign in and that is as far as I can get.
Nothing else works. And I really do mean... nothing works!
I've been through it with several people. They say 'click here' and you'll get... for me, it's not a clickable link.
The front page is all text - nothing clickable anywhere.
And yes, I've cleared the cookies. In fact, I clear out the whole temp internet folder and other temp folders every few days and it still doesn't work.

Have you tried contacting FetLife's technical support? Or are you one of those types who doesn't like asking for directions? ;)

Sounds to me like you have a browser plugin that is blocking Java script, ad blocker, privacy plugin, or possibly it is tied to an over zealous antivirus program.

Status: offline 		I have a tough time using Fetlife as well, which is very strange. I have a very nice computer. Maybe I should try on mobile instead. Does anyone have a positive experience with that?

Also, when I googled, I used the city name as well as that I was looking for a munch. That may be why.

Seems I've missed most of the monthly local ones by about 3 days, which is a darned shame because I knew where most of em were.
