He is trying to draw attention away from the official changing narrative of "it will not come to the US" to "It is not going to spread." Kind of like when ISIS was called JV. If it is pointed out, it must be panic.


YES!!, It is done a lot on here.
I like to use the term "gaslight".
There is a lot of gaslighting on these boards.
