Who has experience with putting a male on the female pill

stef -> RE: the pill (10/29/2014 10:53:09 PM)

What would you hope to achieve with this?

RockaRolla -> RE: the pill (10/29/2014 11:55:56 PM)

I have some MtF trans friends who make use of a certain brand of contraceptive as hormone replacement. Perhaps this is what the OP has in mind?

DarkSteven -> RE: the pill (10/30/2014 12:10:03 AM)

Um, isn't that a prescription medication?

I have some and I can tell you that it is 100% effective, preventing pregnancy in males. It works almost as well on females (99.99993 % or some such)

Screen captures (and pissing on shadows) still [/iRULE! Ya feel me?

Yes. In this advanced society, a lady still needs a note from a doctor to get laid.

If that's the case, it's a poor choice. The amount of estrogen in a birth control pill (generally less than 50 micrograms) isn't really enough to provide the effects they're hoping for. It's almost certainly cheaper, and certainly more effective, to just get regular estradiol or premarin.

Perlutal was the one drug cited by said friends. It contains estradiol and other ingredients, and mainly only available in Latin America. Doesn't stop to online stores though.

Seems a poor choice. The majority of that solution is progestin which doesn't offer any of the effects they're looking for and only 10mg of estrogen for $15 (plus shipping) a dose. If they're using it once a month as intended, that 10mg isn't going to do a heck of a lot. If they're using it more frequently, then that's going to get awfully expensive awfully quick. Said friends might be better served using a different pharmaceutical.

In my honest opinion, it's better you go speak to a licensed physician about this. Since they, not random laypeople on an Internet forum, are the only ones who can prescribe this type of medication for you.

I think the OP has since bugged out so it's kind of moot at this point.

DesFIP -> RE: the pill (10/30/2014 7:16:47 PM)

From an ethical point of view, I cannot recommend premarin. Mares are bred continuously and live in squalor until they need to be put down.
