Dude that's BS, Down's is a chromosomal disorder it has nothing to do with the "age" of the sperm [8|]

Why? Your premise is that the sperm is a faithful replica of half the man's DNA. The underlying assumption of the article is that, in older men, there is a greater chance of mutations occurring when the sperm is produced in his body.

It's been common knowledge (at least to me) that women who are older have greater chances of producing a Down's baby. In other words, as a woman ages, there's a greater chance of mutations when eggs are produced in her body. Why not the same for men?
