You should see the Milky Way up on Mauna Kea

Its awe inspiring

Myself, I have a hobby that has the potential to grow into a great new career that I am working to hone, and I also intend to do more serious photography with my fantastic little Canon Rebel

Nice! Sanity, did you shoot that photo?

No, thats no me

I should have mentioned that

But I was there, and while a long exposure may tend to exaggerate how bright heavenly bodies are at night the view from up there is all that and more

Surprisingly cold up there though, seriously. Its pretty high up. Bring very warm clothes, you may have to dress in layers because there isnt much of a selection of blizzard parkas anywhere on the Big Island

I have property there. We'll be moving back this coming fall or sooner. Every inch of the Big Island is breathtaking.

Lucky you having been there and seen that gorgeous view. I'd love to but extreme cold is a hard limit. Still it's tempting. You must post a picture if you make it up there with your camera.

My goal when I retire is to move somewhere peaceful and quiet. Big Island would do nicely I think. Lucky you.

Yeah, I can lie on the 80F beach and stare up at the snow on Mauna Kea. It's a brutal existance, but exile isn't supposed to be pleasant.

Jus sayin

That would still suit me fine. I've lived in a big city all my life and I'm fed up. I find that people are getting nastier and nastier and there's also the "fun" of trying to cross the street without getting hit. I very much doubt that BI is where I'll end up but I crave quiet and a slow easy lifestyle so it'll definitely be in the country.

BI is the quietest. The rest are pretty congested, and when a zombie apocalypse hits I can use the lava flow to dispose of the walkers... And politicians... Oh, and lawyers... Oh and.... Wait... The list will get pretty big.

Jus sayin

Good point. Maybe I should move there after all. I don't know of a place close to here that's remote enough so that when the zombie apocalypse hits I'll be safe. It wouldn't even have to be a big place, I'll be alone - unless of course I hook up with a D-type before then.

Don't hook up with CD. That sadistic fucker will make it his life mission to keep you healthy, in physical utopia, and constantly dehydrated from multiple orgasms. Duck that evil fucker at all costs. If I were you I'd find me a nice arm chair D that has read every book, article, and post of BDSM from the sanctity of his basement. I mean, really, who wouldn't want to be Princess Lay'ya to JabbaTheDom?

Jus sayin

Take some much needed time for me, me and me! Sounds selfish but I don't give a damn, I need it and am going to do it. The last 6 months of 2014 have really sucked, the first few weeks, maybe months of 2015 won't be much better but I'm going to fit me time in come hell or high water.

When I get back home to NC (whenever that will be), I need a major one on one fuck fest so Master better be keeping himself in tip-top shape and taking his vitamins.

The only other goal I have is to get some normalcy back into our life.

My only goal for 2015 is to not have it suck as bad as 2014.

It's already starting badly as I am on the way to the doctor right now, really sick!

LMAO! If it's all the same to you I'd just as soon not hook up with someone still living in his mom's basement. However I am looking local only. Long distance just never seems to work out. Sad but true. That said it's not hard to see that CD - and you for that matter - is one of the good ones.

Sorry to hear that Red, hope you're okay. However this is still 2014 so you still have a chance. Fingers crossed!

So... Lemme see if I have this strait, you don't do long distance, only do local, intend to one day have a local D that you will retire away from. Ahhhh... Makes perfect sense.

Dang, babe... I'm sorry. When I think of all the people it should've landed on it depresses me that it was you :(

No no no I hope to find a local D to retire WITH. At the very least he can help me fight the zombies.
