I was wondering how much submissive and masochistic related to sexual pleasure. Some people believe that if a slave enjoys submissive behaviour as an erotic action then he is not a real submissive. Do you think it is normal for a slave to sexually enjoy kissing his/her dominant feet and it raises the slave?

Submissive behavior as separated from masochistic behavior?

A submissive serves because they derive intense personal satisfaction from serving and pleasing their dominant, it can be sexual or not.

A masochist enjoys and derives pleasure from having pain inflicted on them; the pleasure is usually but not always sexual in nature.

A sub/slave may or may not be a masochist; a masochist may or not be a sub or a slave.

Define normal.

Many sub/slaves enjoy kissing the feet of their dominant; it is a very humble, submissive act.

How do you mean” as it raise them? Do you mean arouse?

It can be arousing sexually or it can simply be a loving gesture that says "i am yours"

There is very little "normal" within the realm of BDSM. if you want to know how many people within WIITWD enjoy this behavior, I would have to say many. Does it raise the slave? You lost me there.

Submission and masochism are not the same thing. They are not necessarily related at all.

You seem to be saying that if you enjoy your sexuality then you are not really a slave/sub. I am a submissive, so I cannot respond from a slave point of view, but why would I be a submissive unless I got some enjoyment out of it? I enjoy doing my Daddy's laundry, does this make it less of a service to him? I enjoy making a nice environment for him when I am with him, does this make me less submissive? I also enjoy it when he orders me around sexually and uses my body for his pleasure, am I less submissive for it? If I am in some minds it wouldn't matter anyways, they wouldn't be the owner for me if they felt that I was flawed for enjoying myself sexually.

I would live the way that is reasonable to you and gives you satisfaction. I wouldn't worry about what others that you are not owned by think. You have to live your life, not them, and an unhappy unsatisfied slave is probably not a very productive one. Just my thoughts

There is a very broad spectrum within the category of submissive/slave (yes Im lumping them together, try to ignore it if it pushes your buttons, it's for the sake of keeping it simple) with regard to the way inwhich they approach submission and the way that they express their submission. There are service-oriented submissives who do not submit sexually to their dominants. There are "bedroom" submissives who have no desire to express their submission outside their sexuality.

Likewise, with masochism there can be any number of approaches and expressions...some liken it to spirituality in that way. Lots of flavors with lots of room in between where the flavors melt together. Or don't.
