I dont think I have ever read TOS, hell I couldnt even tell ya where they are located, but I just figure, be cool and youre good.
From time to time, I fail at that, but no ones perfect. I think the ones of us that have been here a while or are regular pretty much know. Its more so the newer
posters that I see get in trouble.

Anarchy works here, mostly. Until the sock puppets begin to breed.

Oh and ET, the rules are here only for you, we get to be wild hetherns lol

That explains the Exile (sad face)

I am not upset, just tired and missing things.

I am glad the thread is here though. I may not be able to answer, but I can read and try to see what the needs are and eventually get to things so people can understand. My hospital stays have just about done me in and I am trying to catch up so I can make some money. lol So its double days for me.

This could actually be funny.

Till next time, you all have fun.

You just concentrate on YOU and getting better. We're fine here, for the most part people are good.

Same here. It isn't rocket science, respect others, behave yourself and (most of the time) there are no problems.

I know there are rules but I scanned very quickly through them, just like any other terms of service agreements.
A lot of the stuff seems like common sense to me. If I were to break one it is most likely because the rule doesn't make sense at all in my mind.

I've seen the 'do not mention another poster in a thread where that poster being mentioned isn't, unless it is something positive' referenced a few times. I didn't know if it was a rule or not, but it makes sense to me. Not every poster visits every thread and reads every post. I don't think it a fair fight, the person being mentioned may not have the ability to defend themselves and seems similar to blacklisting.

I am curious as to why some threads disappear in their entirety while others are just edited, warnings posted, and/or eventually locked.
What makes a thread poof worthy?

FR

LOL What a different world here than a year or so ago when everyone was claiming with disdain that of course they read the TOS before they join a discussion board, doesn't everybody? (**rolls eyes**)

I do like this place much better without sticks up everybody's asses.

You can't see what was there before, but you can see quite a bit that may explain some of this. (Some, I am starting to hate that word and declarations of intent or anything that means I have to cover my butt, prove my intent or um, lots of everything. Nap time. *Oh god, I almost said nappy time. The UK members would have a hay day with that! [;)])

Ok, thank you.

There have been a few threads that stayed and it surprised me. The ones that disappear sometimes seem innocent but I only manage to catch at the opening, before any trouble, and therefore can't compare the removed threads to ones that are just moderated. I am kind of in awe things can go downhill that fast, but not entirely surprised.

Lol. I used to say "nappy time" all the time until I learned (on here) it meant something entirely different in the UK.
Hope you had a good one!
Having to deal with that trouble-maker CD, you've certainly earned it.[:D]

RemoteUser -> RE: Rules/ToS that you thought were real (2/11/2015 8:54:47 PM)

I've been told that we have these rule things, but I've never needed to consciously consider any of them. Short of one incident I think might have happened about five years ago under my old moniker where a thread derailed and everyone got scolded, I don't think I've ever crossed any lines. I'm too sensible, maybe?
