I have no doubt that ISIS is what the west is portraying it to be and I'm in no doubt that heads are being lost but why are so many of these released pictures so badly photo-shopped? This last one of Christian men being marched down a beach has been photo-shopped by a complete amateur. The ISIS men are giants compared to the Christians. The gloved hand of the ISIS man has been really badly done and all the men behind look like cardboard cut outs and when elnlarged you can clearly see that layers have been missed and the blue strokes of photo-shop are very evident.

I'm going to go way out on a limb, here (No, I'm not. I KNOW why) and say it is so that they can not be traced to any of their "safe areas" by use of the wonderful reverse imaging technology available to our government.

Good point Michael. They really do need to get someone onboard who can do a decent photoeshop though.

Well they're Islamic terrorists (who I personally think should be wiped off the face of the Earth). Not professional graphic designers (who, depending on their skill level, might be wiped off the face of the Earth right along with them). Good graphic design courses are really hard to come by in the Middle East ... and Photoshop for PC's sucks

One might wonder how they come by the media talent they command.

I believe that the entire media campaign is designed strike terror into the minds of those who might otherwise rise against them, and to inspire would-be recruits to go join their ranks

Images, such as that, photoshopped or not, are PTSD triggers for me, and perhaps others.

I agree with BamaD and Sanity; its about intimidation

There are a couple of pictures of mass executions where the blending of one body against another has been really badly done, so much so that you can clearly see the colour of the t-shirts bleeding into one another. I believe its a lot less people being executed than what they are trying to show.

I didn't mean to come off as a dick, it just needed a warning label.

Would this qualify as a double entendre?

What does it matter if it's 1 or 100? Point is, they shouldn't be executing anyone ... and since they do seem to have this propensity. they should be wiped off the face of the Earth for it. just my opinion of course

A little bit of alleged photo shopping on a couple of Google photos isnt much evidence that ISIS isnt doing the things that have been reported from multiple sources

(The ISIS religious leaders appearing to be larger looks to me like an optical illusion caused by their being closer to the photographer)

Why does it matter? These pictures are put out to us by popular media on a regular basis. Editors know that some of these pictures are edited which leaves the question, is the story a truthful one. Because news is a commercial operation they happily put those images out to the masses knowing they've been heavily tampered with but choose not to tell the buyers of these images about that. Its not unbiast reporting and that's what matters.

I don't doubt that ISIS are doing henious things.

As for the pictures. If you understand photo-shop its easy to spot the mistakes. That picture certainly isn't an optical illusion.

I'm sorry ET but that's why I explained what the picture was so that people would choose or choose not to open the link.
