For example on the second page:

And this one probably added to the voyeur... since I strongly agreed with that:
"I believe that public masturbation should not necessarily be criminalized."

I found all those questions about child porn and child/adult sex to be offensive. So much so that I refused to fill it out any more.

The sheer fact that whoever devised this really believes a significant population of people who do this are loathsome criminals tells me they don't understand what they're talking about.

Beyond that, the stress on this being primarily sexual and s & m meant it really is divorced from my life and our dynamic.

I was also disturbed by the criminal perversion questions as unjustifiable on this test. It's also possible that the test designers assumed there would be an element of out-and-out perverts who would be filling out their test, and set this aside under that separate "Pervert" category. If they thought BDSM in itself is perverse, then that wouldn't have been necessary. Perhaps I shouldn't say, but this might be a potential red flag to me personally - and just me personally - to be alerted to whatever might comprise that classification (including porn addiction? also problematic or undesirable in a partner).

Since there is a fairly detailed breakdown, I figured the extreme M/s-type questions were to distinguish Master/Mistress from Dominant, and slave from submissive. DesFIP, I would have also liked to have seen more purely D/s questions and less higher protocol stuff with all of that superior/inferior nonsense (which someone else also mentioned). To that extent, this Test doesn't go far enough. It doesn't recognize a separate Top/bottom polarity as a category in itself, nor does it cover that of Fetishist -- Not unless this test assumes everybody taking it is already a fetishist from the onset!

I think it assumes people aren't into power exchange, just kinky sex. I didn't get the feeling that they understood how a power relationship works out in real life.

I wouldn't say we're extreme but we fall into M/s simply because he can make any decision he wants to. But there's very little s & m here. And any test I've ever read assumes that slave equals masochist and master equals sadist.

Here, play is primarily top/bottom. It's the time when I'm most likely to be able to get things done my way. Simply because it's very sexual to us so if I don't enjoy it then he can't do his forced orgasm thing which is one of his favs.

Being dragged into the ice cold garage to work a socket wrench because my hands are smaller than his, and fit in the engine of a modern car, isn't something I get to safeword out of.

The question made sense in my mind. It is an examination of whether or not there is that criminal intent in BDSM. It didn't offend me at all but then I looked at the question in a detached manner.

As fun as random tests can be, I can't say I would want to take it because you don't know what happens to the data after the fact. And yes, it can be tracked back to you. I know because I've done it a few times myself, though not for tests.

Like anything else on these boards, have fun, kids, but play safe.

I did notice this as well... the way the questions were asked was almost like the questioner almost expected child porn to go hand in hand with the lifestyle.

On the exhibitionist part...the questions were geared toward (what I saw as) plain old vanilla type sex done in front of random vanilla strangers that didn't deserve to have their privacy violated like that. If some of the exhibitionist questions had been geared toward experienced BDSMers who scene at play parties...I would have scored maybe an 80% (I'm minusing 20% for the times when my nerves are on edge and I'm trying to squash down a panic attack from feeling too crowded, lol).

That child aspect of the quiz did cause me to feel a bit of weird about the thing as well, and I tend to agree, it doesn't seem that well devised overall.
The results seem pretty inaccurate in my case...
I should think I'm much more perverted than 16%.
