Status: offline 		I'm glad to see this new section, although I don't understand why it would need to be separate from introductions, or what the point is of making an introduction as being single and available would be if you can't go into why you're here.

I am a D/s relationship-oriented switch who is mostly Dominant, not a kinkster or a fetishist. Definitely not sub or bottom, not a masochist or a sadist. That probably leaves out 98% of those who are available and seeking a compatible partner who wouldn't already be excluded due to distance impracticalities.

On-line interactions are not what I'm here for. I'm seeking a long-term, real-life relationship commitment that is not based on a foundation of BDSM. In other words, BDSM would not be foundational, but just one aspect of a well-rounded intimate partnership.

This is separate place from introductions because not everyone on the site is looking for someone. For example, I've been owned for almost 4 years now (I found him here, and CS doesn't allow you to change your username) and am here for the forums. We are a monogamous couple. So if I were a newcomer to the forums, introductions would be the place for me to introduce myself, who I am (40-something owned slave who likes old 80s romcoms and country music), not what I'm looking for.


Since you aren't a masochist, may I suggest you stay away from the politics room

That sounds like a good idea! I think I would have to be either a sadist or a masochist to want to debate politics in the first place.

I do see your point, that introductions don't have to be reserved for site newcomers, and that you can be new to the one but not to the other, or back on the market again.

Prior to this, anyone seeking a partner, connection or other members for various reasons, were removed from the forum. I felt it was a negative when we would rather bring the positive. I hated removing threads of mostly newer members and the first post of any site user becoming an experience that didn't have to be. Thus, this section provides an addition to a profile and is more welcoming and positive.

I took the idea to the team and the name was created in fun and we opened the section.

In introductions, site users are only allowed one thread. This area could be used more than once as long as the section isn't flooded or abused and could be adjusted when personal circumstances may have changed.
