What's a 'resting bitch face'?

PeonForHer -> RE: How to be a Classy Femdom (4/2/2015 12:20:36 PM)

Oh hang on, is this one?

sexyred1 -> RE: How to be a Classy Femdom (4/2/2015 12:26:09 PM)

Yes, that photo works. Its a person, usually a girl, who naturally looks mean when her face is expressionless, without meaning to.

Nah, she's just got a resting bitch face, she's actually really sweet.

PeonForHer -> RE: How to be a Classy Femdom (4/2/2015 12:40:33 PM)

Overdid it somewhat on the eye shadow, though. She could look a bit of a strumpet to some people.

PeonForHer -> RE: How to be a Classy Femdom (4/2/2015 1:30:00 PM)

The 'subtle raised eyebrow' thing often looks sophisticated, I've concluded. However, not everyone can raise just one eyebrow. I can, but only the left eyebrow.

Pair it with ducklips and I can get you a commercial on the telly.

PeonForHer -> RE: How to be a Classy Femdom (4/2/2015 2:01:21 PM)

I might just do that on Facebook. I could do with a few more female fans.

Same as being a classy person. There's no difference.

Yes, ^this^

If somebody describes herself or himself as classy, then that person isn't.

'Cause that's just declassé. [:D]

DreamLady

P.S. I think you nailed it, OP, as being shorthand for "high maintenance" and not for gracious or cultured.

What is a 'classy femdom' - to you? If you could be the classiest of classiest, given whatever resources or magic there was, what would that look like?

The term "classy femdom" in isolation means absolutely nothing to me. I would only know what it meant to a specific person if they told me or by judging the total context in how the term was used.

What's a 'resting bitch face'?

This is classic Vivien Leigh, famed for her intense gaze.

I was once on a site where a man considered anyone with brown hair "classy"

I think classy is a vastly misused word. So much so, for me- it has lost all meaning when someone says it.

Any man who hasn't heard of Grace Kelly, the American actress from Philadelphia who became Princess of Monaco, is. . . well, has no class. [:-]

"Resting Bitch Face" has no muscle tension, so no wrinkles or aging. For other benefits: http://www.mtv.com/news/1955790/bitchface-resting-advantages/
The opposite of 'dying to please' face? Signified by ending Every sentence with a questioning upshift in tone.

hopelesslyInvo -> RE: How to be a Classy Femdom (4/3/2015 2:17:15 AM)

no one can compete with "eyebrows guy" from maze runner when it comes to resting bitch face.

WorshipMissSofia -> RE: How to be a Classy Femdom (4/6/2015 4:00:00 PM)

As a woman with RBF who is as "high maintenance" as they come, I can honestly say neither has anything to do with being classy.
Dreamlady mentioned being gracious and cultured, which about hits the nail on the head for me. I would add "carries herself/his self with a sense of dignity, poise, and refinement."
As for being a "classy femdom," as others have previously said, that description seems predisposed to relativity. Perhaps a domme who embodies the aforementioned qualities? [8|]

JVoV -> RE: How to be a Classy Femdom (4/6/2015 4:02:08 PM)

Brooches are classy as fuck.

DerangedUnit -> RE: How to be a Classy Femdom (4/6/2015 4:20:59 PM)

I've been called classy, but that's before they get to know me. I like watching the color drain from their faces as they mentally retract the statement though.

To answer, classy would be the opposite of me... demure, poised... to paint a picture I see a woman in a tight pinstripe skirt suit and pointy heels hosting a dinner party at her pent house apartment, she always knows just what to say to gather support. Polite, and even tempered.... or maybe she is wearing a ball gown and reaches out with one gloved hand to a man who slips a diamond ring on it.

Pretty much I see(right here I paused to catch a fly which I found amusing given the subject) classy as someone who plays the society game, and well.

Jelee70 -> RE: How to be a Classy Femdom (4/6/2015 5:17:57 PM)

Bless you for citing early Mike Leigh.

crazyml -> RE: How to be a Classy Femdom (4/7/2015 1:33:23 AM)

Hmm... "classy" as a British term? I'm pretty sure it's more American.

I grinned at your mention of Abigail's party, at Uni we used to refer to a girl of a certain type as an "Abigail".

I think that classy has many many different senses depending on the context. In some contexts, someone who actually puts underwear on might be, relatively, classy.

I think there's a stereotype of the elegantly dressed, stockinged, stilettoed, woman who might be described as "classy", meanwhile in American detective fiction a "Classy broad" could simply mean that someone had qualities that distinguished her from others.... "She may have been a working girl, but she still had class".

MsGypsey -> RE: How to be a Classy Femdom (4/7/2015 2:16:15 PM)

Classy is having a feather in your hat, or one of those hats with a veil that only covers one eye. And elbow length gloves. And the right shade of lipstick, the dress length just a little below the knee. And drinking tea out of a tea cup. And I agree with whoever wrote that brooches are classy. In the shape of an animal, like a panther, or the equivalent, usually in diamante. But not frog brooches.
