This despite leftists trying to propagandize about how the few bad apple Americans arent held to account for any crimes they may commit while liberating such horridly oppressed people as the Iraqis

I cant recall a comment from you on the OP, which is the sentences handed down to the blackwater mercenaries. Do you have a relevant comment to make on these sentences? If not why are you posting on this thread?

Ive posted this enough times you should have it memorized by now

Even these two clowns had to admit that we did great things for Iraq

(Until Obamas policies took over)

Barack Obama:

quote:

'We're Leaving Behind a Sovereign, Stable and Self-Reliant Iraq'

http://www.whitehouse.gov/the-press-office/2011/12/14/remarks-president-and-first-lady-end-war-iraq

Joe Biden:

quote:

“I am very optimistic about Iraq. I think it’s gonna be one of the great achievements of this administration. You’re gonna see 90,000 American troops come marchin’ home by the end of the summer. You’re gonna see a stable government in Iraq that is actually movin’ toward a representative government. I’ve been there 17 times now. I go about every two months, three months. I know every one of the major players in all the segments of that society. It’s impressed me. I’ve been impressed, how they have been deciding to use the political process, rather than guns, to settle their differences.”

Then Joe rode off on a unicorn down a road made of rainbows.

Both of these statements are completely wrong, and definitely were wrong in 2011. Joe Biden was dead wrong in 2011. But , if we had LISTENED to Joe Biden many years earlier on Iraq, instead of ridiculing him, we wouldn't be in this mess. Rand Paul is now startinng to see it as well.

Iraq will never be a stable country. It was created by Churchill to serve British and U.S. oil interests. There 3 different ethnicitices who share no commonality (other than they were forced to coexist under a series of repressive goovernments). SHia and sunnis can live together, sue. But as for a national identity, they overwhelmingly would liike independence from each other. The Kurds have never wanted any part of a unified Iraq. If the Iraqi Sunnis had a home land with a Sunni government they could trust, I guarantee you ISIS would not have a stronghold there.

Rand Paul is now saying arm the Kurds AND give them a homeland. He is FINALLY listening to Joe Biden. Joe Biden was giving a bs ra-ra speech in 2011, supporting Obama. Yes, it was total B.S. But years earlier, on the Senate floor, he was spot on.

How do we know Biden was right? Ask the Ottoman Turks who let the regions fairly autonomously self-rule for 100's of years.

Just sayin'

I'll accept the British made Iraq. You're going to have to cite something worthwhile about where it was made to serve British and U.S. oil interests. I'm just so swimming in Iraqis oil now that we've been stealing from them for a decade, it's hard for me to imagine we let Britain in on the deal. That's such a cliche leftist idiocy.

My apologies to the OP. I am guilty of following somone else's lead in dereailing the thread. Hunter now wants to argue with me about oil interests. (Coupled with his "lefty" attacks)

I agree with the OP vis-a-vis that justice (or some semblance of the beginning of justice) is served. Long time coming.

Shame on Obama tin continuing Bush's faiiled policies. (To Sanity's point)

Ah, as I expected. You'll bait and criticize but when asked to cite you dissimulate. On target as expected MJ. Didn't really expect anything from you. Even regarding the extent I've gone to providing links to you.

1) I am sorry to hear that you are swimming in Iraqi oil. That cannot be good for your health (I would think it would be carcinogenic?)
2) My point was Joe Biden was right all along on Iraq (as far as an overall strategy, not his 2011 commeent on the status of Iraq)
3) I thought my comment about oil interests was common knowledge and not controversial
4) I apologized to the OP for derailing the the thread, aand am apologizing once more, as I am doing it again.

Your comments about oil are common leftist myth yes. Just as they said Bush was trading our blood for oil in Iraq. As my pun was meant to show the BS of that, I'd hoped you'd either link proof of your statement or admit it was similar BS.
