I am looking to replace my CB6000. It was the first device i bought and the one i really wanted to try and for the most part, its awesome. From the first time i managed to calm my excitement and ease the cage portion i loved it. The eclosed feeling, being able to touch the contoured head, shaped like a real cock head but not feel anything. The fullness, the way it constantly reminds you that you are wearing it.

Well, to the negatives.

* Firstly The cage portion split underneath (when i was wearing it, but thankfully not excited too much at the time). Repaired it with superglue and its seems ok but it doesnt look very good.
* Secondly, one of the holes for the guide pins in the base ring i normally use has split and is unuseable (glue didnt fix it this time)
* Thirdly, the way the base rings are made, joined together, can cause a fair bit of chafing (once again, a smear of super glue over the seam helps)

So i can still use it a little with the smaller base ring, but that can be a little too tight, though through the desire to wear it, i've gotten more used to it.

Anyway, waffle over, i am looking for a new device. Preferably a Steel one, though i have seen a silicone one that looked good too.

I also prefer the 'eclosed' design like the CB6000 rather than the 'cage/bars' type, but have never tried the latter. Like the idea of not being able to touch it, but imagine the feeling of sensation through the bars but not being able to grow fully is quite fun.

Someone suggested something like this, simple, effective, steel and enclosed.

The second link is a store thats close to me, and they sell a few. The woman in the store offered to talk me through them when i asked if they had the CB6000 in stock last time but i chickened out.

Anyone got any suggestions, or reasons why a 'cage' device is better than an 'enclosed' one would be appreciated.

The plastic ones do tend to split. The silicine ones generally have too big an opening in the front that allows some stimulation with a q-tip or similar object. Also the silicone ones can be squeezed in such a manner that an orgasm is possible. i know this from experience. Go with the steel one, they are more restictive and create a great sensation. When one is on you can't feel any sensation in your penis but can feel the outline of your cock. As much as you want to touch yourself there is a constant frustration that you can't. Verry difficult to discribe the sensation, but is is pleasurable but difficult at the same time.

Sorry for taking so long to reply, just wanted to say thank you. I havent been able to afford a new one due to life getting in the way but it certainly makes sense to me to go with the steel choice. Now life isnt in the way as much i can think about choosing the right one. The enclosed type is definately more my style i think.

there are many good sites on e-bay for chastity devices. The steel ones in my opinion are the most comfortable to wear for extended periods days/weeks and even months. prices of around $20-25 can be purchased or you can bid for less and be patient. the ones from china take up to two weeks to receive. the US sites 3-5 days. i prefer a shorted fit and have used the ones with a tube, very different sensations and are much better for being able to urinate standing. you can try different ones with the low prices.good luck! and let us know how it goes.

I suggest custom made.
Stainless steel, not plastic.
Mature Metal has models like "Jailbird" and "Queenskeep" which are very functional for long term wear.

I think Bondage Bunnies will replace any broken toys with new ones, despite the warranty running out. Might be worth a try!

http://www.customchastity.com/ is a good new manufacturer, the Rikers device is good in my opinion as well as the Holy trainer. Steelworxx makes a number of good devices as well. i have a Steelhart and a Looker 2 and both are very nice.
