ORIGINAL: HunterCA Actually, the creation of the Tea Party movement inside the GOP was in recognition of your point. I don't know why leftists vilify it so much and then come up with "Occupy Wallstreet" to parody it. I do remember Nancy Pelosi and other leading "Progressives" egging Occupy on as they shat on police cars and raped the women in the camp. I also noticed the trash left behind by the earth sensitive Occupiers that you'd never see at a Tea Party rally. I have heard that as well. The problem is, Tea Party rallies appear to be filled with dimwits who have a playskool understanding of the issues. They couldn't even tell you what the Boston tea Party was all about, All they know is "Hate Obama. Obama is a socialist." The have no clue what a socialist is. I only base this on TV interviews (which could be selective and biased). I have never actually been to a Tea Party rally. I look at the candidates they support (people who do not have a clue), and I am not impressed. My understanding is that Ron Paul started the Tea Party. If that is true, he must be shaking his head, because it has been taken over by dimwits. Here's a sight with comments on the propaganda you're hearing. I don't vouch for the sight, it just came up. But it'll give you an example. http://www.akdart.com/obama123.html Welllll ok... But... Being falsely accused of racism doesn't make them successful policy wonks. They have been around for many years now. I haven't heard a single constructive idea from them yet. Why would you have if all you're hearing is the racism charges. Your news is filtered. You can find it if you wish. I don't mean that as an insult. Usually, one of the first realizations made by a person who begins to see the conservative side is just how filtered the propaganda he's getting is. My news is filtered??? How would you know??? I hope you are not implying that I am a person who "begins to see the conservative side". IMO, there are two kinds of ideas: Good ones (based on facts, and sound judgement and reasoning), and bad ones (which lack those qualities). Some ideas could be labelled "liberal", some could be labelled "conservative". There are good ideas and bad ideas in both camps. Most good ideas end up being centrist. And BTW: Out of curiosity... What would you consider to be an UNFILTERED news source???? I am very curious to know! And also BTW: I had forgotten about the racism charges and dismissed them years ago. My statement about your news being filtered is solely from your statements about your knowledge of the ?Tea Party. It was general in nature and I'll accpet a rebuff if you say it's warranted. I saw my first congressman bribed in 1987. It was $35,000 back then. I've seen a lot since and I know it's not on the news so can't direct you to any perfect news source. But, I can see, not with you, when people are using passion instead of knowledge in arguments and that gets my dander up. In those cases I mistreat them exactly as they treat me, as I'm treating you now. In your case with respect. But, most liberals don't getting because they don't offer it. I love to watch how liberal's act when I treat them exactly how they treat me. Theyre shocked usually.
