that's interesting. while ive always believed that conservatives and Christians especially have a mandate for good stewardship of the earth, I wonder how going forward with the stuff Cameron's talking about could occur without compromising conservative principles.

"If any one says, 'I love God,' and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen" (1 Jn. 4:20).

Casting that liar thing around a lot. Having trouble, maybe, understand something beyond your kin? Like maybe the person is like so many on here that just think one way out of idiocy and don't know any better. It doesn't make them a liar. It makes them an idiot. I'm sure if we all took a few moments we could come up with a couple of other reasons besides lying.

Yeah, dont know why god would be throwing that word liar around a lot like that.

What they get from FOX 'news', they simply regurgitate it here. An some even try to pass it off as original material. Why do you think most of us have an easy time slamming the bullshit for what it is? Doesn't take to long to get the facts and figure out why the FOX 'news' piece is blatantly full of bullshit.

despite my, and others, showing you that what sets fox news apart from all the other stations out there is that it is indeed fair and balanced, you want to continue to believe its a tool for the republican party or something.

why don't you actually watch it over a period of time and you will see many of your left wing heroes getting plenty of air time to voice their views. and you will find plenty of regulars who are either moderate in their social political philosophy, or actually very left leaning.

let me borrow from bill o'reilly when I say this: wise up.

How important is a 'State of the Union' speech to Americas? Pretty important. Its the one time we see 99% of the major players in Washington's elected group in one place. We have the President, Vice President, and most of the cabinet. The Joint Chiefs for the Military. All nine US Supreme Court Justices. And most of the US Congress. Most Americans will either tune into the speech via their TV or by the internet. Every news station worth its weight in gold, airs the speech. Regardless of which party is controlling the White House at the time.

Except FOX 'news'. Which is one of primary means of news for the midwest. And its the only means of news for the midwest. Folks out in the midwest are not as tech savy as other parts of the nation.

During the most recent State of the Union Speech that President Obama gave to the nation and Congress; What was FOX 'news' airing at the time?

If what you say is true, then the answer should be easy, right?

I watched the State of the Union Speech. I even flipped through the different news stations to see what they were reporting. That is why I know what the answer is, and you do not. But please, do try your best bullshit routine here....

Over the years you have presented me with many questions and requests that left me wondering how you could possibly manage to find your way to work every morning. If you're still waiting for me to respond to those, that's really precious! But I don't ignore all your questions and requests. In fact, I just very recently responded to one here:

Sooo...Ohio State, University of Illinois, on and on, have no tec classes to help those poor Midwesterners come into the 20th, let alone the 21st century? Hum, that's a pretty high faluten statement. The Midwest isn't tec savvy. And yet, from what I've heard, FOX always says it reports what the other news sources doesn't, which is how they claim to be fair and balanced. So, what you're saying is that although NBC, CBS and all of the other letter stations report something and FOX doesn't lockstep in line, like all good lefties should be in lockstep with the kool aide pouring crowd, they are verboten and puerile?

Actually, I never watch the State of the Union address, from either party. It's just political theater for the masses and I don't agree with your basic premise. Oh wow, that's surprising. Do you have a link to a scale of importance to back up your assertion?

mnottertail -> RE: CO2 levels hit a record high.. (5/12/2015 11:26:33 AM)

any propaganda organ can claim to be fair and balanced, but in reviewing their veracity and citations, it is clear that they are slobbering disinformation organizations.

some people say.

I find it so ironic when non-Christians are "criticizing" Christians for "not behaving" as the Bible "dictates" and they do so while being nastier than the Christians that they are "criticizing".

Then there is this "strange" idea that Christians are sheep who will "bow down" to them if they "quote" the Bible. They seem to imagine that Christians don't *think* about what Scripture says so they'll blindly listen to what they want them to do/think.

They often don't realize that Christians often deal with other Christians who do take "verses" out of context (along with ignoring other verses). So since Christians often disagree with other Christians, why do they imagine that Christians will follow their "take" from Scripture?

What you belive isnt always correct. Cameron is using Global warming in a twofold manner. By insisting he is going all out to reduce global warming with a green based economy, he hopes to win support both from business and people who are concerned about global warming.

Are you really dumb enough to suggest a far wing conservative is compromising conservative principles. I would love to know how you got elected arbitrator on such issues.

You have totally moved beyond twit to complete and utter pretentious asshole with that statement.

I suggest that you perform an indecent act of anatomical impossibility upon yourself; and thereafter suggest you might best be served by such for in that instance at least you would enjoy a parity of inexperience with your partner such that any incompetence and amateurish bearing on your part might be alleviated.

An unlimited search of the entire vast gulf of space, and all the miserable creatures that dwell within, would never yield intellectual ineptitude exceeding that of your own. Truly, if feeble-mindedness was a cornerstone of some unspeakably perverse civilization, you would be crowned as its lord-emperor and forever clumsily worshiped by drooling, knuckle-dragging, unwashed degenerates.

ask the many millions (more than the rest of the cable news networks combined at times) who watch it for that very reason.

ive illustrated over and over how they are---about the only people I suspect who don't believe that are the leftists who don't actually watch it, or as I have said before, leftists who upset at having their stranglehold on the media broken and are outraged at opposing views being presented.

ive reversed the order from the webpage for effect:

quote:

On Sunday, polling company Poll Position released the results of a survey, which asked people whether they thought Fox News' slogan "Fair and Balanced" really represented the cable network's position when reporting news.

Good news, Fox News! A plurality of people believe that your slogan is true.
