At first it did not let me in, then it did, now it won't again. I had to set up another name, so I am sticking with Femminator instead of Lipstick leuger. It's frustrating to say the least.

Mkay.. I think this was [briefly] discussed elsewhere in the forums, but the search is still broken!! Yeah, I know the photo gallery style has been gone for a while, but I don't browse that often, so when I was browsing today, I relied on clicking "next profile". Well after maybe 5 profiles, it seems like I reached the last profile from my search results [of which I'm sure there were hundreds, since my search was broad].. Grrrr. What happened to the site?!

I had problems the day before yesterday, but yesterday I had no problems at all in the mailroom. A letter took forever to send but I waited it out (am glad I did, seeing that other's letters double posted, lol). I used the search feature (searched "Mod" to see if any have showed up) about half an hour ago and it worked fine.

Problems with Collarspace and Collarchat come and go lately, and I'm just glad I'm getting a break at this time and I hope it doesn't go all sideways during this weekend.

Wow! It's been a while. I didn't see any new threads about this topic, and think there should be only one, that way people don't have to go searching..

Does anyone know what's going on on the other side? A moderator from the chats explained that the Lobby was set up to explain changes that are going on, but what happens if the chats are down *raised brow*.. Someone else thinks that changes are being made, but aside from the advertising on the right side, switching from advertising profiles to advertising Stockroom, it doesn't seem like any changes are occurring. Searching through profiles still seems to be difficult, from not being able to view things in grid format, to clicking on "Next" [or whatever it's called], expecting to go from profile 1 to 2 to 3, etc, instead of 1 to 2 to 29, skipping over 3 through 28.. ..

Oh! And sending emails and submitting posts here seems to take at least twice as long.

It is a routing occurrence and has occurred frequently since the collarme/collarspace website was first online. You can expect this at least once a week on average and the website may go down without warning for several days. The owners are aware of it but frankly, could not give a damn.

Okay.. Why do the advertisers stick around if the site is going down the crapper?! Why not just sell the site to someone who cares!!

It's because they are making money. Just by looking at your join date, you are not the primary target of the advertisers. JT's, for example, has ads that are directed to folks who are new and looking to buy gear. Not the folks who have been around for a while and already have their toy collection started. Most of the "ads" on this site are focused toward the new.

As to the owner... Why sell? It's a good source of income. Dude's going to the bank every month. It's not Baku kind of money but it is substantial.

The site is glitchy it has been going on for months. It’s already been said in essence you will not be able to log in sometimes, or to chat, or to hit “ok” or send a nice mail complimenting someone’s orbs…it times out aka pixie interrupts a connection or two or link in the server/node chain. Solution just retry, refresh - lubricate your electronic device by throwing a bucket of water over it (no-one do that) .
As for the server(s) & host I am not sure. Crumpets (and that couple sorry i forgot your username for now - often knows what he is talking about regarding these matters may have a better idea.

You can most likely log into your olde profile if you can log onto this one – unless aliens abducted it. I can occasionally accidently log into a profile I forgot to delete from 2008(username near identical perhaps an “s” extra)

Sites well you have fetlife, collarmeorg and alt and here. Today’s ads for me are “join alt.com”…I am currently logged into it = hence the advert on collarspace.

Site adverts tend to track your browsing history and nothing else. I tend to clear out the cookies and cache daily.

As Ladypact says it makes money – the adverts are very invasive/take up lots of screen crash adobe flash. It could have made fet money she knows that I know that some others know that. But alas I am uncertain the original owners x 2 listened – or was that part of the spat.

People stay/come back. There are limited fetish sites out there.

As for this place, owners well being etc I am not sure. I think one day this site will just vanish.

You will find you should be able to log into your original profile or both if you wish.

It would have been nice for a moderator to make a general announcement in site announcements forum to save on all these people who think their computer is brokey. legend has it all moderators were abducted by aliens..though I seen a newish one the last month or so or it may have been an hallucination caused by me drinking to much cheap Chardonnay

Na, Des, I think it has always been that way.. To prevent spammers. You are given a certain amount of time, at least you used to be able to, to edit your post, THEN after that time 30 minutes to 2 hours [I never payed attention] you can post another comment in the same thread.

This is what I get for typing as I read *shrug*. Okay, keeping the above information, in case someone didn't know about that,

*edited* Nope. I just submitted this post and didn't have a problem. Weirdness. Then again, the site could be PMSing and acting differently for everyone *shrug*

Newest glitch, not that many people may use it, but I figure, hey, why not post all the possible glitches *shrug*

So. I want to find something I remember writing in an old email, so I did a search. I started with just one word but came up with MANY results. Then, to try narrowing it down, I do a three word search. I get "Search Timed Out - Please Try Again". The "search" didn't even take a millisecond [it was significantly quicker than the one word search]. I tested this by doing a search for something I found in an email. I started with one word, then a phrase copied from an email, same results!! *shaking head* I MISS THE OLD SITE!!

I am using the chat irc using a smarphone. How do i find other chatrooms beside the lobby. I am using AndroIrc if that helps any. Is see how I can change to different channels but i don't know what to do from there. They are no names i cam see.

As I think I've mentioned before, I think keeping some stuff limited to one or two threads makes the most sense, even if it's months between posts.

So. Is anyone having trouble getting in on the other side? First there's the spinning wheel of death, signifying that the page is trying to load but not working [it's not my internet connection because I managed to get here].. Then I get this error page that I've seen before "Error 504 Gateway time-out".. Is there problems with the owners again? Are people hacking the servers again?.. ..

Never mind, I guess.. It's working now.. Just annoying when sites randomly stop working *shrug*
