My Dom has recently shared that she would love to spank me with more than just her hand, something I was unsure if it would be a hard limit, or not, for me. After much thought, I would like to try it, as long as I don't end up with bruises on my bottom from it.

I have decided to try several things and I would like some ideas for making some type of mid level(more than hand but not as much as a whip)device for spankings. I had thought a paint stick would serve nicely if covered so I don't get splinters(owie). I would like to attempt many different things regarding this, because we don't really know what we both will enjoy yet, and I don't want to have to invest a ton of money, and have a ton of unusued toys laying about, before we find something that we both love.

Thanks for any ideas.

go for one paintstick, then glue another one for a layer of sting:) crops are fun, more stingy than thud, I have lots of paddles and spoons, most I got from kitchen shops/kids toys...ping pong paddles...I made mine by gluing rabbit skin to one side.

They are solid, wont snap and have no wooden edges to smooth off, and of course, the bristle hairbrush:)
I have spent hundreds over the years on toys(helped that BDSM was my business) but most of my favourites are home made ones.
Oh pizza boards are another fun toy with an experience bottom:)

Go to the dollar store. Plastic and wooden spoons, and everything else imaginable. The plastic curtain rods make great canes. Belts are great.

Avoid wooden paddles /brushes for regular use - they can cause leatherbutt.

Leather is always good.
