Hello, I am a 40 year old father of 2 beautiful little girls. I am disabled, but still physically mobile. Due to a divorce, and my wife retaining a lawyer, we were evicted. She and my children had her mothers to go to, and I was left in search of a home. After spending my last $80 for a bus ticket to Kalkaska on the chance that I could ask a cousin to let me stay. Needless to say none had room, but I was given permission to "camp" behind the property. I literally am living in a "lean-to". Every day that I am away from my daughters hurts me deeply, what I am looking for, is a safe, and affordable housing solution for my problem in the south eastern area of Michigan, (i.e., Wayne, Washtenaw, Monroe, counties.), at least 1 bedroom so my daughters will have a room when they visit, but a 2 bedroom is perfect. I will accept any place, even if it needed minor repairs such as plumbing, dry wall repair, or painting.
