Essentially all we do on these political boards is discuss freedom vs. socialism. Socialists demand gun control, because those pulling the strings of their useful idiot lap puppets know that real political power comes from the barrel of a gun (Mao). Individuals dont matter, anything is ethical if it can be argued that it is done for the good of the masses, or society, or socialism. The wealthy are demonized, leftists openly discuss what consequences await the rich if they only get enough power. Dissenting conservative voices are shouted down, harassed, and vilified. There are a lot of examples of this around, and no, conservatives dont do it too. An excellent case in point is FOX News, the only semiconservative news station around. Never mind that MSNBC is arguably far worse in every conceivable way, and that the left controls almost every other media - it drives authoritarian leftist freaks insane that FOX News dares to exist.

There is another attempt under way to pass encumbering The Drudge Report, too. "Liberals against free speech"? No, hardly. Theyre not liberal in any way. Examples of the left working overtime to eliminate free speech go on and on. PC mania, constant personal attacks against conservative posters, nonstop propaganda against conservative organizations and pundits... Scratching and clawing away an inch at a time to check off their to do list so that we can have that perfect society where no one could ever possibly suffer the consequences of choosing to drink a big gulp or shop at Walmart, drive an SUV or be exposed to dissenting thoughts.

To me there is subject that if brought up there will be accusations of chauvinism.... I can take it. America is conservative...even its liberals are conservative by say European standards. With this ingrained conservative attitude is America ready for a female President? There I said it.

I believe, please do not ascribe this belief to my personal way of thinking, that many male and female voters including Democrats do not think a woman is strong enough to be President. We are still a male dominated country. It will be hard for Clinton to overcome a solid Republican base AND Democrats, that although they agree with her political positions, will not vote for her because she is a woman.

I hope this is not the case and the election will be decided on substance and not gender but I do believe gender will have a big influence on the outcome.
