DocStrange -> Scatology - Maybe Very Healthy for you (8/4/2015 6:30:17 PM)

Many times over the years the subject matter of eating scat has come up in the forums. Well this is a bit of a twist on that subject matter. If you search CM you will find many people who are fine with it all the way to those who tell you it is very bad for you. Even some will make the claim you might die or get very sick from it due to e coli bacteria and other nasty bacteria.

I am not for nor against the fetish of scatology. But I do provide the link below. The latest medical trend of fecal transplants. Yes, that is right, taking fecal matter from a healthy person and purposely putting it in someone who is having intestinal problems like IBS or C diff. They have found that fecal transplants have an 90% cure rate for C diff. That is more than double the success rate for antibiotics for C-diff. The FDA has even approved fecal transplants.

The first testing was done by transplanting fecal matter. This was done by either enema, or placement during a colonoscopy. But now they have poop pills ( see 2nd link) for this. You can always eat it straight up also :) I find it very interesting that medical science has really shed some light on Scatology and the results are very impressive. Eating poop is not as bad as you thought it was. Though I would still opt for the pill form if I needed it LOL

LOL......they ask for all kinds of kinky things but dissappear when you talk poo! Go figure. Interestingly the type of flora (bacteria in your gut) may very effect both weight gain and weight loss:

I just wanted to help ;) there is all sorts of gross stuff in all our products red dye(think it was 40?) Is made out of ground up beetles, mmmm gatorade beetle juice.

Around my family you kinda figure out anything about feces eventually, my mother is really anal retentive.

Jokes aside though this year my baby sister got a cold, she had a fever for 2 weeks so the doctor gave her broad spectrum antibiotics(idiot... I told my mother that was pointless but no one listens to me) her bacteria was all wiped out and a bad one took over... forgot what it was started with a c I think. She couldnt keep food down for months while they were trying to re"colon"ize.

I suggested this procedure.... they never listen.

Yes, poo in certain forms can help... but let's be clear. Just like you generally will not raid your fridge looking for moldy stuff to eat when you're sick, putting you mouth to some random person's butt is not he best of ideas.

In fact, I do not recommend it in general. There is NO safe way to play with poop. Just liek there is no safe way to share blood.

Can you educate yourself about the risks, understand they are relatively low with someone you are likely already fluid bonded with, and go ahead without ill repercussions, perhaps forever.

Sure.

Then again, I know people who have had unsafe sex their entire lives, with hundreds of people and still test clean.

You have to determine your own risks.

And frankly, while the odd mess from backdoor play doesn't squick me out, it's kinda gross for me to consider munching it, or having it placed.smeared/whatever on me (or my Pet) purposefully.

DesFIP -> RE: Scatology - Maybe Very Healthy for you (8/6/2015 6:02:18 PM)

Plus a 6% risk of an autoimmune disease isn't something I'm willing to do, just to lose weight.

DerangedUnit -> RE: Scatology - Maybe Very Healthy for you (8/6/2015 7:33:48 PM)

Lol you dont eat it.didnt read their links but the procedure im talking about is a transplant. They take someones poop and put it in your colon... or rather specifically cultured feces.

We werent talking about playing with it, we were talking about the medical procedures involving it.

NookieNotes -> RE: Scatology - Maybe Very Healthy for you (8/7/2015 2:40:43 AM)

I interpreted the OP as using the medical links to point out that playing with it is not as bad to play with (scatology-as-fetish) as previously assumed.

That's how I was responding.

And I used your post to respond, because I think you made some excellent points about how poo can be useful in many ways.

DerangedUnit -> RE: Scatology - Maybe Very Healthy for you (8/7/2015 3:58:49 AM)

Maybe, I tend to be pretty oblivious to when people are trying to do that. For example "hey I should pee on you because it is sterile and will clean out those wounds" me "no it isn't. pee has bacteria. what are you talking about...."

ChatteParfaitt -> RE: Scatology - Maybe Very Healthy for you (8/7/2015 6:20:07 AM)

Poop (that has good bacteria) is inserted into a person whose gut does not have enough good bacteria via an enema.

Or at least, this is what I gathered from what brief reading I have done on the subject.

<big chuckle here>

I haven't heard of any studies about achieving the same goal (improved presence of good bacteria in the gut) via actually eating someone's poop. I'd love to read the research grant on the one!

JVoV -> RE: Scatology - Maybe Very Healthy for you (8/7/2015 1:15:02 PM)

You know, they usually sell those probiotic yogurts in like a multi-pack.

For enemas?

:D

Oh. Yeah, that would explain Greek yogurt.

And for that you win the dancing banana triplets!

Your interpretation was 100% correct :)

The main method for fecal transplant is either vie enema or insertion during a colonoscopy procedure. Research is being done on ingestion methods. Most notably they have developed pills that are frozen that can be swallowed and will not dissolve in the stomach. Have not seen the results on how effective that is yet.

I am not advocating eating POO to improve your intestinal health. The acids in the stomach will destroy the majority of the bacteria that you want to make it through.

The main point I am making is the eating scat from a healthy person is not a huge health risk. Many have claimed on this site that it is. This is just some medical science backing that fact. As always you need to know your partner and know if they are indeed healthy.

With that said, and even though I am a science lover......I still would not eat POO. Just for the record :)

littleclip -> RE: Scatology - Maybe Very Healthy for you (10/17/2015 7:11:18 PM)

stool transplants are done more routinely now for the treatment after having [sm=chug.gif]antibiotics kill off the good flora of the gut. the scat play is not something I would do but some do and their kink is fine with me.

zombiegurlsos -> RE: Scatology - Maybe Very Healthy for you (10/25/2015 1:59:45 PM)

good post, thank you for the information....

Bhruic -> RE: Scatology - Maybe Very Healthy for you (10/26/2015 4:57:34 AM)

The pills for fecal transplants do not release the bacteria until the pill has passed in to your gut. Plus I believe that, in their manufacture, harmful bacteria are probably screened... so it is not the same thing as eating feces.
