It's probably safe to assume that the answer to most if not all of the questions is: No time at all.

It's both sad and infuriating to hear some of the looney Rightwingers here mouthing off about the treatment of women in the Middle East, while at the same time supporting every measure the Right tries to introduce to control women and their bodies in the US. These are the same people who opposed every measure to advance women in the past, who fought tooth and nail against every measure to remove the discrimination and structural obstacles that society used to keep women in 'their place', the same people who support every measure the looney Right introduces to remove womens ability to control their own bodies.

If the welfare of women was left up to these people, women would still be in the Dark Ages. You are perfectly right and entitled to draw attention to the cynical shameless way they use women to advance their Neanderthal politics. A nation is a threat we go in deal with the threat and we set up the government before we leave. Were we supposed to put the Emperor and military back in charge of Japan, re-instate the Nazis in Germany, no we established the kind of government we knew. And we aren't dedicated to the death of everyone who doesn't think just like we do. And still you are equating a political solution to a lack of government to a religious fanatics desire to force everyone in the world to see things exactly their way.
For your analogy to be accurate at the end of WW II we would not have established parliamentary republics, we wouldn't even have allowed England to have continued down that path, you would now be living under the US Constitution.
