The only real differences in the populations of North vs Latin America are a higher % of Native American genetics and English not being their dominant language.

I am pretty sure you would agree that would depend on the specific area. Argentina,Uraguay,Belize, Surinam,Guiana,FR. Guiana,Cuba would be the only exceptions that come to mind.

Hispanic is a term for people in, or with origins from countries that predominantly speak Spanish. Latino is used to identify people in, or with origins from countries in Latin America. It's 2015. How can any of you hope to get someone's pronouns right if you can't get their ethnology right?

Brazilians are Latino, not Hispanic. Spaniards are Hispanic, though not Latino. It really isn't complicated.
