Just smack the TARDIS console a couple of times before you go into full flight and you'll be fine. Or so a friend of mine says ...

Can you please tell your friend that one really does NOT break like that.

I think it something on your end.
This post reads "8/26/2015 11:10:57 PM" on my computer.

Have you driven faster than 88mph in a Delorean?
Have you spent any time recently with Mr. Peabody?
Have you been visited by H.G. Wells?

Seems likely that your computer's clock has gotten out of whack and needs to be set. Assuming you are using Windows, this can be done by right clicking on the date/time in the lower right and choosing 'adjust date/time'. If the clock is indeed out of whack, check it again the next time you start the computer after shutting it down. If it reverts after having been shutdown, then the battery on the motherboard which maintains the clock has gone dead and needs to be replaced (the battery, not the motherboard).

It must just be mine.

sounds like a backup battery needs to be replace. It takes only a few seconds to get a new one at Radio Shack and pop a new one in.

As has been said, and if you could check your system time and date, bottom right corner of windows taskbar.

Desktop PC or laptop? And did you buy it before 2010. Batteries rarely go, possible, but unlikely. But with that simple line if you bought it 2010 or after - seems like a clock/bios reset. Reasons ranging from you have been into the BIOS settings and reset values accidentally, a bit of grumbling hardware reset it for you, malware, new app, cmos battery - which costs about 2-4 dollars.

I have never once in my lifetime had to replace a CMOS battery on anyone’s pc/laptop.

To replace A (CMOS) battery on a destop PC will take a novice 10-20 minutes and there are plenty of videos on you tube.

Laptops are bit more difficult and off to the shop with it unless you know someone who can take out about 20 screws and ribbons and their daft wee fiddly clips and assemble it all back in almost the right order.

I've seen it happen, more than once. Simple check: set the time and date. Switch the computer off. Wait a minute. Start it again. If it ain't right, you're out of luck unless you can solder in another battery because they tend to be integrated with he motherboard these days.
