Any kinky folk who are also artists? What medium?

PyrotheClown -> RE: Art (8/30/2015 5:32:33 PM)

My work tends to be slightly legally challenged,but I also dabble in sculpture and computer graphics(cause I'm lazy and I lack a steady hand..can't cntrl z life lol).I'm also part owner of a family fine art screen printing company,but that's more "work'n for the man" and less personal expression....Oh,and by "the man",I actually mean perpetually penniless artists lol

I work with charcoal and watercolor. Erotic art I do mostly in charcoal, the same with animals and some landscapes but most landscapes I do in watercolor. I keep a journal but instead of a journal written in words, it's done in drawings. Everything I do is kept privately for us or displayed in our home with the exception of a few erotic pieces that some friends asked me to do. He's tried to get me to become more involved with it, show it, sell it but my art has always been very private to me (I started drawing when I was about 10 years old, my mom is an artist and was a college art instructor) but I never wanted to get into it on a business/professional level.

Same here,Mah teaches Art History and Screen printing.
One of the activities my folks would throw at me and my friends when we were underfoot was exquisite corpse.A pretty fun game where a piece of paper is folded into three sections,and one person would draw the head,draw necklines into the next frame,fold over and hand it over ,ect. So no one sees the head,neck chest,and waist to feet of the figure they're drawing sections of...I tried deploying this activity on some forums some years back,but no biters

i work in oils, watercolour (although this was my starting medium, and I don't so much these days) graphite, carbon, and most recently pastels. I've been selling my work since i was 14, and mostly paint pets, wildlife, and people. I have also done lots of other stuff too though.

NookieNotes -> RE: Art (8/31/2015 6:23:51 AM)

I work in digital, paints, multi-media, printmaking, and in wearables like jewelry, and even designing clothing, including leathers and latex (I taught fashion design and sewing for 10 years).

I've been creative my whole life, and I do it for fun.

Photography/Video is what my BFA is in.
But I also do pottery, drawing, some watercolor.

I don’t know if I would call myself an artist… but I certainly do appreciate the talents of others.

What I do like is landscape photography…and I am very good with Photoshop. So if anyone needs skin smoothed...color correction…or a new background just drop me a line.

I hope the art you are referring to is not strictly BDSM

Why don’t we post examples of our art… or at least what we believe art to be.

Below is a landscape of a hidden waterfall at night in Missouri.

I certainly would. I've seen what you've posted on here and it's fantastic.

I dabble in a little of everything... clothing wise I like rebuilding historical pieces(like french court gowns from the 1700's, and corsets) woodwork ive made canes, chests, sheds... won quite a few of those wooden car building races as a kid, knife handles(currently have two I need to do actually but I live in the desert now and havent found any wood laying around sigh. Leatherwork ive made collars and horse bridles, whips and upholstered furniture.... played around with 3d modelling in blender for a while.... I draw pictures of peoples cats for Christmas presents, or couple pictures as wedding presents but photo realistic drawing is too time consuming for me to do for "fun" right now im in an electonics phase bmo was my last, currently have some old gun controllers(think duck hunter) that I plan on covering in glitter and putting the tv remote insides in.. daddies thing is motors and the metal jewellery, he made my shackles and collar cranes to hang from, very vibratey motors... stuff like that.

First person I thought of when I read the op was Butch. I wish you'd post more pictures, the ones I've seen are always fabulous.

ResidentSadist -> RE: Art (8/31/2015 11:52:22 PM)

Does the art of torture and torture photography count?

Otherwise, I am a digital graphic artist, a little pencil and some music related talents.

Have you visited the Art and Photography forum? There is some nice stuff in there if you appreciate kinky art.
