Frequently a sub will send Me a simple "Hello Sir."

To be honest, after responding to these, I have never received a second message. What is a sub looking for when their initial contact is "Hello Sir."?

I have not had that experience as of yet ... Thank you for your thoughts!

I haven't had a problem having messages returned early on.

I feel the simple and one-time "Hello Sir", is a half-hearted effort to initiate the dance of dialogue; and is probably sent out as a scatter-shot (more like fishing where you drop ten poles in the water when it's just you in the boat) to see who will respond. And who seems more eager or falls into what that person is looking for, will be the one that they will respond back to. The problem is that they may not be who they say they are, and you end up just answering questions providing a "porn-on-the-fly" situation where you're feeding their immediate wants...in short being used.

I could be wrong, but I think not... it's a move of pathetic perversion.

Thanks CoolDaddyD

Your thoughts seem to fit. Since looking for the proper sub/slave, as well as their looking for a Master, is like searching for a needle in a needle stack ... there may just be no way to overcome this, and it just comes back to a numbers game.

Thanks for sharing your thought!

Hardly conversationalists, are they.

That should tell you something right there. If you have to try to drag out a dialogue, you're not likely to get one.

Nor are you likely talking to someone you'd actually want to get to know.

Answer people who send you actual meaningful messages.

A message saying "hello sir" is like the messages women get saying "hello slut" or some other moniker along those lines. The sender hasn't earned the right to call me "slut" and your sender hasn't earned the right to call you "sir". I think only the general desperation of men here would inspire them to take such a message seriously, even enough to ask about it. Women just ignore those messages.

Since that is a similar message to the "Hello, Ma'am" or Hello, Slut" messages that women get, they might think that is what men want. They understand that men rarely get messages so having women initiate a hello simply takes a burden off them. They might also think that "Hello Sir" would normally work in an offline environment and they have the surprise factor working for them. They might think that men are visual creatures and that a nice picture and a friendly greeting is the beginning of a conversation.

Thanks for your thoughts!

Had a Domme tell Me not long ago some of the subs/slaves were just simple in their understanding (with all due respect) ... My intent is to allow E/everyone the opportunity to communicate ... whether they are smooth communicators or very patchy ... W/we are dealing with muli-cultural ... it does not tell Me that because of this I can't find something I can use and develop. Sort of the diamond in the rough theory.

Again ... I do appreciate your response.

Wow ... great insight! the points you make are valid points. And most likely on-point.

My initial thought though is, since they are not My property, and not been outright disrespectful in mannerism, there must be an allowance for a general form of communication, and the use of "sir" does not seem too abrupt or out of line. Pertaining to taking such a message seriously ... enough to ask My question ... you are welcome to your perspective.

Point taken.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I guess to next question is do you totally dismiss them.

You're ignoring the fact that most women do not write men. So if you're getting all these messages from women, I'd imagine they are actually from other men. And so far, the farthest they can take their fantasy is that first message.

But considering you talk about paying people to relocate to you, I'd half assume they're setting you up for a future scam.

"Hello Sir" sounds appropriate for a chat room, not an email. You shouldn't send an email without referring to something in the profile of the guy you are messaging. What are you supposed to do with "hello sir"? A message should offer some opening for a reply.

Do you look at the profile before responding?
My bet is that if you do, you'll know that they're fakes
