I Just Want People To Be Honest About THEIR Actions, You Can Delete A Message Without Reading It OR Knowing IRS content, So Why Would Some One Read THE Content And Give A Fake Deed Back To The sender, It Is Useless ,And Like I Said Some SCAMMERS Use It As A Way Of INSULTING THE SENDER IF HE OR SHE WON'T FALL INTO THEIR TRAP. IT IS ALL About honesty....

Seems to me it's all about getting a message you don't want to hear...and yes, an insult is a message.

If a scammer insults you by deleting your mail unread, shouldn't this be considered a lucky escape instead of something to complain about?

Reasonable and logical does not work with the OP, it has to be his way, his viewpoint, or he is being persecuted. Poor little alpha, everybody is so mean to him.

I can live with this kind of replies, my thread was not a " complaint " I was not complaining, I was suggesting that option be removed ,a suggestion can always be considered or rejected, but I see your opinion more or less has been affected by all the worthless replies from the trolls . Once again. I am not complaining I am just suggesting that hover option be removed so the curious cats will have to open the message or die from curiosity,

As a proud Grandma, a little wee when laughing is a fact of life.

You are not getting the point , deleted read and deleted unread ARE NOT the same, if you wanna delete my message DON'T read it, if you read it out of curiosity and delete after you can but , why should u let me know you deleted my message after reading it, sending me a message ? removing this option. Won't affect the website functionality. And it will train people to be more honest .
I can delete a message and block the sender , shall the sender receive a notification from the website not the sender . ? All I wish is that option will be deactivated and then everybody is entitled to their actions.

you sound like you like to fight windmills you think are dragons. Here is a take on this, get use to the ideal that if you send an email to someone, you loose the right of expectation.... that is the fun and excitement of emails.... I guess

Other posts in this thread did not affect my decision making process. The fact that I occasionally delete "unread" posts...did come in to play.

Someone's letter coming with a primary pic that's a penis or impaled butt hole...yep, I delete those unread after hovering my mouse for a moment. I also delete unread hostile letters from guys who are letting their entitlement issues get in the way of their good manners.

You forgot option 3...delete the message unread and not give it another thought because they truly don't care.

Why would you like to know if a person is Trans????, is the more important question....is it not? You are skating on thin ice
and your answer could drop you in a cold pond of the moderator.

now back to the discussion.... just live with the fact that your emails, will be handled by the receiver as they see fit.... funny you
like snarking people, but can't see that the way your emails are handled are just the other person snarking you....lol Have a wonderful day
and remember if you don't mind it don't matter....

What does being trans have to do with anything? Was that supposed to be some kind of a slam because I am going to have to call major fail on that one.
