The weakness and stressfullness is due to Mom being sick and having to admit her to the hospital. When she's gone, I forget to eat and have to force myself to even have an omelet or scrambled eggs (big on proteins here). She is home now and I am eating better again (she's resting after trying to work in the yard today). Just waiting for the latest glucose results from the labs drawn last week when we both went to the doctor.

Stress, depression after my mothers strokes and death have me gaining weight again and eating poorly which has my blood sugars out of control and several Connective Tissue flare ups. I say all that, to let you know "it happens." Hang in there. Try to find things that help inspire you to get back on track toward feeling better and taking care of yourself.

Unfortunately, there isn't a psychotropic med that doesn't cause weight gain. But far better to be overweight than uncontrolled bipolar.
