a freind, having read my poem 'remember to breathe' told me I must 'write more!'
so this morning with that in mind, i wrote this, for my Master
My sanctuary
When the world feels too hard to handle
And people to cruel to care
There’s a place I know I can go to
And peace will find me there
It isn’t the beach or the woodlands
It isn’t my garden or bed
I can’t touch it, or see it, or taste it
But I know in my heart it is there
All of my worries and fears
Are left at the ‘door’ if you see?
It is at the feet of my Master
Where I finally get to just ‘be’
And my soul feels the peace I have searched for
and yearned for and needed so long
It is in my complete surrender
That I know I truley belong
