Extra virgin coconut and extra virgin almond oil are great for massages and as lube. Both are safe for sensitive skin and sensitive areas, and edible. Both have antibacterial, antiviral properties. Both are gentle on leather, and won't react or cause reactions with synthetic materials.

I like to add one or two drops of essential oils per one cup to add a bit "more".

Sandalwood, frankincense, myrrh, cinnamon, rose for intimacy
Citrus, mints, cinnamon for stimulation
Lavender, sandalwood for calming

*make sure to use pure oils only, not fake scents. I buy mine at Mountain Rose Herbs.
*Coconut oil hardens at room temperature. I find this less messy. You will need to soften the oil to add essential oils, put desired amount in a container, put container in a bowl of warm, not boiling, water until melted, then add oils.

Thank you for that.
Some things you did not mention:
Almond oil is a no-no for someone with tree nut allergies.
All oil based lubes will degrade latex condoms.

I use olive oil and eucalyptus leaves warmed in the microwave to use as a aromatic massage oil. coconut is very good for the skin but ask about nut allergy's or preferences as some don't like the smell of coconut soy massage oils are good as well. I use mine for a sensual massage experience. for anal lube warm olive oil is good just don't get it too warm can use a large syringe to inject it in the rectum.

Shea Butter will trigger a latex allergy.

Cirtus will make skin photosensitive, so don't leave on the skin and then go out in the sunlight.

And never, never use straight EO's on the skin.

What are EO's?

Also...aren't all these...for lack of a less delicate way to put this- hard to get out because they aren't water soluble?

EO's are essential oils.

Lavender gives me headaches. Make sure both people are fine with the scent you pick. Put a drop inside the elbow to check for reactions.

I like Grape Seed Oil. It works well and is healthy for the skin. It is used in a lot of cosmetics. I like it because the scent is very light. The taste is light as well.

Nutragena body oil. It is a convenient package for a mineral oil and sesame oil mix. The unscented version doesn't trigger any allergies and you can use an essence oil if you want a scent.
