You make us need you, you make us need to be with you, you take control of our lives, whar we wear, how long to have our hair, what to eat.

You have us anticipate your needs and take pleasure in pleasing you.

You make us think life is impossible without you.

And then you leave us.

We dont know how to think, how to feel, how to act.

We doubt what we put on in the morning and what time to go to bed at night.

We grieve you, we also grieve ourselves.

We know there are no words of comfort, how could there be when you are the only one to take comfort from.

And in the grief is the resentment that you made me need you and that i dont know how to face life without you.

That's a really moving piece of writing, that certainly makes me think about the resposibility involved in earning a woman's total devotion. Thank you.

Yer, or a man's for that matter. I've seen people get thrown out at the end of a relationship like the evening trash... So little real responsibility out there...
