I admittedly and not a big rope enthusiast. Though when walking through an outfitter store the climbing ropes look cool but they are very pricey.
Yes you can get rope cheap at the hardware store. But where to you get those colorful ropes with the smooth silky feeling? Below is a link for such a place. I buy the ropes their for climbing. They have many designs and some vary colorful.
