Yes it is. And there are supposedly several people that he has on hide that he still manages to make comments about their posts. He really makes it easy sometimes.

It sounds like a captain I once sailed with. Mad as a maggot and would hold his breath and stamp his feet like a 2 year old if you proved him wrong. Honest, I watched him one morning, right outdide the galley and he went purple !!!! *LOL* He got punched out a number of times but kept coming back for more. Totally stupid and had no people skills whatsoever........sounds JUST like cumpots............and I still think cumpots is an ' it ' not a 'he ' . prove me wrong *smile*

muppetski is another one, (just above me on this thread); it went on hide almost as soon as it reared it's ugly head on here. It really does make the boards a much more pleasant place.

First, allow me to say I am the biggest computer twit on the entire site. Take anything I say about these matters with a grain of salt.

If you were experiencing this Monday/Tuesday, it was site specific. I tried a couple of things before daytime play on Monday and wasn't successful at all. TPTB were doing some things with the system, as DreamLady pointed out.

Do you have more information on the ASP issue that they're experiencing?
I sometimes get errors that indicate that they didn't test their changes - but it would be great to get more detail.

As for the trolls, it's amazing that they all post at once, as witnessed by this screenshot below (which indicates they are likely one and the same person)...

No I didnt take screen shots... its not an unusual thing I have seen.
Ive had issues with links dealing with databases, but my experience does not dealing with this type of db.

Just a few minutes ago the site came up as a blank page. Never had this problem when the site was CollarMe. There are at least a dozen things wrong with the site that wasn't messed up with the original site.

The ones that bug me the most,

* Pictures Not Loading Properly - Something that many members have complained about, but yet there has been no fix for. Some peoples pictures do not show up in search that have uploaded pictures to their profiles.

* Profile Text Gaps - When you fill out your about area text you end up with 2 line gaps instead of one. I use a text editor to do mine, then copy & paste which fixes this for me but its still annoying.

* Load Times & Site Crashes - I find it hard to believe its the traffic to the site unless of course they are using shared hosting packages or their server does not have the proper hardware memory, cpu, etc to support the loads. I mean take something like eBay which has tons of members & you never see it time out, or even things like Facebook. You cant run a well populated site on a 286 or 8086/8088 XT & you need something better then a 12 baud modem. (Humor)

I honestly wonder about the person who takes care of the site (the webmaster). I mean if you cant code or fix issues, find someone who can.

On note of blocking crumpets, no need. I look at him as one of those types who feels the need to put his 2 cents in just to make his Posts Count higher wither what he is posting is useful or not. Happens a lot of most forums. Me I could care less how many posts I have, if what I have to say is not useful to that which I am posting or replying to. So I would assume that at least 1320 if his posts are garbage, and I am giving him credit for at least 1 being useful in some way being his current count is at 1321.

As you can see its not just me... Was even nice enough to include a speed test there for crumpets so he doesn't feel left out, or feel that I am to slow to load up a web page. Perhaps he will think of some other useless information to have me post to make him feel better? Oh shit, I waited 5 mins to do the speed test! Does that mean at 5:50PM I was to slow to load up the site? ...

Hmm so I noticed now the site shows a blank white page to me in Firefox, but in IE the site loads up just fine. Changing pages, and load times are the same though.
