There are several ways to find munches. The first would be to google your city and state and the word munch. Then there is joining sites like fetlife. That is the place where munches announce when they are happening and where. I see you live in WA. I used to live there. If you are anywhere near Bellingham, Seattle, Port Townsend, Vancouver, The Tricities, Spokane, Skagit Valley, Tacoma, or the Kitsap Peninsula to name a few places, you are near a munch.
A munch is a social occasion. They usually meet in a restaurant. They are supposed to be a safe place for newbies to meet their local BDSM members. There is no kink happening at a munch. They are free except for the food and drinks you order for yourself. In many instances you need to attend a munch and perhaps a couple coffees to be asked to any play parties that might be happening. Munches are also not a pick up spot. Do not expect to go to one and order a submissive home with you. It doesn't work that way. People like to make sure you aren't a wacko before inviting you to places like a play party .
