outlier -> Trump Flys In Unregistered Plane (4/20/2016 9:01:22 AM)

http://www.nytimes.com/2016/04/20/nyregion/donald-trumps-jet-a-regular-on-the-campaign-trail-is-not-registered-to-fly.html?ref=politics&_r=0

Now Trump supporters get to answer the question(s).

How can you expect him to solve the nation's problems
when he cannot come up with the $5.00 necessary to
pay for his plane registration? How can you expect him
to run a country when critical details get past him and his
organization? Etc. etc.

In all fairness; the other 4 of his 5 aircraft do have current registration.

One thing that I find interesting about this is how far the NY Times is willing
to go to dig up negative stories about him. Also interesting that the Trump
campain has been paid a Trump company more than 3 million so far in travel
expenses.

That must be what he means when he talks about self financing, from the
campaign to his own pocket. Wouldn't you like to take a close look at those books

And you gleefully repeat those stories

As if critical details don't get past our politicians every day?

was it a 7/11 plane
Donald Trump confuses 9/11 with a convenience store

Yes but some only get mad when the other side does it.

What's wrong, your threads not getting enough attention so you thought you would come by and hijack this one? The least you could have done is comment on his first.

1. I doubt Trump is the one that is directly in charge of renewing the registration. While he'd be on the hook (at least to some degree) if the FAA wanted to make an issue out of this, I'm sure he has "a guy" for things like that.

2. I highly doubt the lack of renewal has anything to do with money. Trump has plenty.

3. Even given that I've defended him on this, I don't expect, want, or believe he'd be able to effectively lead the US, but, this story/event/whatever-you-want-to-call-it has had no bearing on that.

He isnt the solution, he is part of the problem!.. and yet his moron supporters think he walks on water? omg, is this country is so screwed if he becomes prez (not that hillary will be that much better tho)..

I find it very amusing that the doom and gloom the left been spinning about Trump, is the same doom and gloom the right was spinning about Obama in his first election ha! I don't think Obama has improved the US by alot. Trump is the right balance of left and right in actuality. Bernie is far left, Cruz is far right.

well, its taken 8 years to get the economy outta the depression/recession and to the mediocre place it is today.. but i think the doom/gloom thing said about obama was related to him wanting to bring in commie single payer health care.. it was going to be the end of capitalism & democracy.. (of course those people still dont seem to get that the US is a police state and has been for some time now)...

This is slightly less conjecture than the proffered article:

I'm not a gambling man, but I'd bet a dollar that since it's mentioned that it's his "regular jet" and since he's been getting SS protection for quite some time that the details of the registration of this plane would be made fairly difficult to track down.

Just a surmise, but I'll bet I'm close.

I am sure there are some poorly paid disgruntled employees that could have been slipped a few bucks for info on him, or some hacker hacked the website.. info isnt all that hard to get with all the leaks and poor computer/internet security out there..

Apparently 2 of trumps kids were too busy to register to vote so i think forgetting things runs in the family..

It's standard practice for companies that own private planes to hold ownership of the plane under a separate umbrella and bill the main company for the charter use of the plane. And most companies charter out their aircraft to others as well to offset the cost of the aircraft.

But, I guess it's easy for the NY Times to get the people that don't understand that practice up in arms.

http://www.nytimes.com/2016/04/21/nyregion/donald-trumps-jet-is-grounded-by-the-faa.html?&moduleDetail=section-news-3&action=click&contentCollection=N.Y.%20%2F%20Region
Plane is officially grounded, FAA called the chief pilot. Some red faces at the FAA as well? That both the FAA and the TSA totally missed that an unregistered plane was operating regularly in US air space and through major airports says there are Serious gaps in the coverage of the National Airspace and how each airport is overseen.
"You're Fired!", only it's some Trump employee with a real job and a family instead of some actor? Let's guess how employees who screw up get treated? FAA notices went to the Delaware address of a company that has One owner, Trump. No secretary? Guy never checks his mail, and is worth Billions???
If some Real Estate Co.s and some campaigning is too many balls for Donald to juggle, how is he going to Begin to manage the Executive Branch, relations with Congress, the Economy, East/West tensions, the Islamic culture wars and Climate Change, plus the coming transition to sustainable energy worldwide without a major industrial crash? Each of which is bigger than anything he's dealt with yet?

Everyone uses various fictional/shell corporations for tax and liability reasons. The joke here is that Trump has been bragging he's self-funding the campaign and this, like other actual analyses of the cash flow, show the small campaign donors have been paying into Trump corporations for the work, instead of Trump paying. He's making money while telling the people paying the bills how rich he is and doesn't need normal campaign sources.
The scary part is an unregistered aircraft, (and thus no airworthiness certificate, if I read the articles right) has No insurance and an accident then is on The Donald for the whole bill. But if He's dead in the crash, all the other injured and families of the dead have only his hollow corporations to look to for redress or compensation. Given US law, 15 years to adjudicate, and then no money, as the lawyers doing the arguing used what there was up?

yeah, standard practice for the well-off/rich to have ownership of assets under separate umbrella corps.. many times those "umbrellas" are in the Caymans, etc and billing the US company outrageous inflated amounts, thus a tax dodge.. [&:]

Obviously the "guy" he picked wasn't up to doing his job. What does that say for the fool who chose the"guy"?

2. I highly doubt the lack of renewal has anything to do with money. Trump has plenty.

After ripping off his creditors and investors three times I should hope he would have a few bux.

And who was that? Do you honestly think Trump personally hires every person who works for him? This is really a reach, instead of focusing on irrelevant shit like this, how about focusing on the important shit, like his policies (or the lack of them)?

So now he is distanced from this by two levels of idiocracy....[8|]

I just shake my head and laugh that the punk even makes the news. That anything but mindless drivel comes out of his mouth is a given.
