one wonders the relationship between tougher economic times and volunteering time. are some people who might normally be volunteering, having to work extra hours or take extra jobs that detract from their ability to volunteer.
meh.. people are too tied to their cells.. thats where a lot of their time & effort goes.. they are either texting constantly, on Facebook, reading their email or doing other stuff on their cells.. they even ignore their screaming brats cuz they just gotta finish this "important" text.. Sit & watch people for a while, see how many cant put their damn cells down, see how many are walking and texting, how many are checking their cells while driving, interrupting their conversations with real people to read their texts, are on their cells instead of working at their job, etc.. some people wont even talk on their cells, its text or dont bother.. they cant volunteer, they might miss a text!.. its become a disease.. think hard & honestly about how much you spend doing that..
