If you saw some of the driving around the Sunshine Coast, you would swear some of the cars don't have drivers in them anyway !!! I think though that if the micro-chips that failed were actually in the guidance system at the controlling airport, the pilot might find himself in deep shit. I really don't know though. I have not flown a plane in a lot of years and have no intention of trying my luck again.

NYC does it differently. They charge a surcharge on parking in Manhattan. But the commuters who live outside the city have to pay them income tax.
