As I consider my life,
and pick at the scabs of past indiscretions.
I cry at the brilliance,
and sigh where I acquiesce to the She demon.
Time has flown,
yet parts seem frozen.
I look back and see my wings,
battered and well used.
Naked flesh,
steeled by courage.
Elegant soul,
creased by time.
The most difficult,
yet incredible lesson:
I OWN my own life,
all around me....is me.
I've clawed away the shackles.
Nearly fainted with the liberation!
You came to me,
offering your simple self.
I task you to sync, to grow, to fight,
to try.
Oh simple one,
when will you see?
That you are,
the most brilliant part of Me?
