Greta75 -> Wall Street Dictates who Hillary picks as VP (6/22/2016 6:56:51 PM)

Nobody is talking about this? More than Half of that 40million she has is supplied by Wall Street, and they say they are gonna withdraw their donations and stop her donations IF she pick Elizabeth Warren.

This is the kind of President you want? I bet Elizabeth Warren is NOT gonna be her VP now.

And ya all are complaining about Trump spending money on his own business?

You want us to talk about something that isn't happening?

That Hilary is cozy with the banks is old news -- that's been discussed for months, and will be again.

Who else that she's not going to pick should we not talk about?

So in voting for the better of the worst.

Why do people think that voting for Wall Street controlling the President is much better than a loose cannon like Trump who is his own man and can't be controlled?

Musicmystery -> RE: Wall Street Dictates who Hillary picks as VP (6/22/2016 7:35:24 PM)

A lot of people don't think either one is a good idea. That's why they support Sanders, Stein, or Johnson.

According to conventional establishment wisdom the VP is supposed to provide "balance" and therefore her pick will be a man, possibly an Hispanic man.

Depends.

I'll grant you that Trump can't be controlled. But the fact he is a racist, Islamophobic, bigoted, stupid, economically illiterate, cruel, sexist, crazed, obsessive, and all round evil fascist makes Hillary the lesser of two evils. If she was controlled by cockroach fiends from the planet Zorbon she'd be preferable to Mr Maniac.

MrRodgers -> RE: Wall Street Dictates who Hillary picks as VP (6/23/2016 7:45:40 AM)

I am telling you kinkroids, it doesn't matter who, what, where or why. They ALL will play ball with wall street and the bankers. Even Sanders if he had been elected...would have played ball.

Reagan didn't take any wall street money, he didn't go give speeches to the bankers. Once elected, it took all of 69 fucking days for him to learn.

Does anyone seriously believe that anything has been done, any steps taken and regulations being enforced right now or in the future that will prevent a TARP II if that ever became necessary ? Think again.

Warren grilled Yellen on the requirement that banks give the fed detailed procedures on what the banks are doing, what steps have been taken...not to fail again. The banks had not and have not and Yellen told Warren in so many words...'get back to me on that.' Meaning no, the banks and the fed are not going to follow the law.

Next question.

I know English is a second language for you, Greta, but describing somebody as a loose cannon is not a compliment.

Because wall street, the bankers (the fed too) control ALL presidents and will control Trump too.

Virginia Sen. Tim Kaine is emerging as the leading candidate atop Hillary Clinton’s vice presidential short list, according to Democratic allies and operatives close to the campaign.

Sen. Elizabeth Warren and HUD Secretary Julian Castro are also top prospects for the Democratic ticket — both representing nods to important Democratic constituencies.

Hillary Clinton is reportedly vetting Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren as a potential running mate, as the presumptive Democratic nominee narrows her VP short-list down to about five people ahead of the Democratic convention in Philadelphia.

The New York Times reported Wednesday that Warren, a favorite with the party’s left-wing base, had a secret meeting last week in Washington with James Hamilton, the lawyer leading the campaign’s vetting of prospective running mates.

A source close to the campaign confirmed to Fox News Tuesday that there are now about five candidates on the short-list.

Another senior Democratic source said the list includes Warren, Housing and Urban Development Secretary Julian Castro and Virginia Sen. Timothy Kaine. Additionally, House Democratic Caucus Chairman Xavier Becerra and Ohio Sen. Sherrod Brown are being considered. The source would not confirm any other potential names.

Hillary Clinton is narrowing her list of candidates to run alongside her as vice president in November, according to reports.

The Clinton camp is currently in the final stages of vetting, leading up to the former Secretary of State's big decision, expected to come in less than a month, CNN reports.

According to the Associated Press, Clinton is now down to a short list of just three potential running mates, including Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren, Virginia Senator Tim Kaine, and Texas Housing and Urban Development Secretary Julian Castro.

If that holds true, then Julian Castro would be that guy (and he's even one of the purported 3 finalists). If you read the first link I put in, though, Kaine speaks Spanish, is from a swing state, and is a former missionary (quick read says he was in Honduras). Either of them might help her solidify (or further solidify) the Hispanic vote.

A batshit crazy egotist who can't be controlled is a bad thing.

(do I get understatement of the year?)

They'd be cancelling each other out; "Look Auntie Tomahawk you're the one who said that!"
"No I didn't cat lady, you did!"
It's hard to pull off (one) pathological liar but two?

I don't know who's battier . . . the secret banking societies are running the world's governments, or the all Muslims are out to conquer the world and kill everyone else.

Maybe there's moslem banks?
[:D]

Musicmystery -> RE: Wall Street Dictates who Hillary picks as VP (6/24/2016 10:15:30 AM)

Islamic banking is an interesting and complicated system, as the Koran forbids loaning for interest.

Sorry: I was forgetting that there's people in here who wouldn't know that when I raised the subject for reasons of sarcasm and sneering.

It will be interesting to see how that plays out but my money is on the western bankers, they have more guns (navy & drones) and more poor people...to use them.
